Shouto's big problem is that he essentially has a mental block around using his fire side thanks to his childhood trauma, so even pretty simple applications have an extra hurdle to get around. He's using his ice the way he's supposed to use his fire- the 'training' he got from his dad was all about using the fire quirk, which he refused to use, so he applied the same lessons to using his ice quirk, which he didn't have specialized instruction for.

I really enjoyed this episode. We knew it before, but Endeavor is so much more than a huge guy with an awesome quirk. He built up and perfected his power. His tactics and strategies are so refined and he’s always calculating. He even has immediate plans for how each of the three could improve. Even Deku’s other mentors (who knew him and his quirk better than endeavor) weren’t that quick to find a way for him to improve. And bakugos main critiques have been teamwork but now he’s finally got a mentor who’s helping him improve his core power.

why is the dub ep a week late?? did they delay on purpose so that the dub eps are 2 eps behind again?

I know this season is a bit of a drag at points but feels like they just looking for reasons to drag on the show xD Even Marketa was getting annoyed.

This is three weeks late, but they start work on the dub when the episode is released in Japan, and because of covid the voice actors are recording their lines at home and sending them in, which takes longer to coordinate than if they can have them in the studio. So it takes about two weeks to get the dub together.
