The "Geto incident" is going to be explained in the Jujustu Kaisen movie that's being worked on. and depending on when it's released and how far the second season of the anime goes has a major "spoiler" for it. because the movie is based on the short series prequel manga that actually came out before Jujustu Kaisen and was so popular it made the author start this series. Also I love Nanami's line about "Being a child isn't a sin" especially telling Yuji he'll have to kill someone someday as a sorcerer. He's pretty much saying "if you keep on this path you'll be forced to kill someone sooner or later because of the curses and other curse users we fight. but it doesn't have to be today, you don't have to cross that line now, I'll handle fighting Mahito and the transfigured humans he has. You just focus on Junpei" and he doesn't say it as a way to talk down to Yuji. Other stories like this would 100% have Nanami be like "Well if you aren't ready to kill people to do your job, just go handle watching Junpei with your weak ass and get out of my way."

Mad props to Nahid for picking up that Junpei might not like his mother smoking because it reminds him of what the bullies do to him. You're the first reactor I've seen to notice that.

I can't wait for next episode, it's one of my favorites from the first season genuinely. Also, I'm really, really excited for the second season, and the seasons to come tbh, the manga is brilliant, and I genuinely love he characters. Normally, I don't really care for characters apart from the main cast, and even then, sometimes I don't even get attached. Like for MHA, I'm really attached to Hawks, Endeavor, and Bakugo, but with JJK??? I'm genuinely so attached to most of the cast. JJK Characterization is just so, so good, Gege is great.

If they are liking people better in the dub. Why not switch to the dub? I’m fine watching subbed it just feels silly.

Because a lot of JJK fans are not very fond of the dub and they would go crazy if they switched after 10 episodes of the sub. Plus Micky and Rana don't watch the dub so they wouldn't switch only because Nahid and Suraj prefer it. I think watching JJK in the sub for reactions and re-watching it in the dub on their own is perfect for them imo.

4:56 I never caught that Junpei said,"Uzumaki no bottan." which means a button with a swirl. So that's why the Uzumaki symbol is like that, a swirl since they are from the village hidden in whirling tides from the land of whirlpools.

That jujutsu stroll was a parody for Evangelion. Every episode ending of Eva there's this sorta preview for the next that goes too fast. And that scene with the principal and Gojou is an iconic pose of Gendo Ikari in NGE.
