There were multiple easter eggs in that void. The SHIELD Helicarrier is the one that surprised me.

Also the Frog Thor! There was a story in the Thor comics where Loki arranged to have Thor turned into a frog in Central Park, but Thor was able to access Mjolnir and his powers and had some wild adventures. Later, IIRC, he was able to convince Odin to give one of the frogs a small portion of his power to continue protecting the creatures of the park.
