you guys should definitely react to the volume 4 soundtrack and watch the volume 5 character shorts before going into the next volume.

Reilly Martinez

I'm excited for y'all to start V5! I hope you watch the V5 trailers, since they're canon (so is the V6 trailer) but you don't have to react to them if you don't want, since they're short.

Fun fact, actually Monty technically DID have a hand in this episode/season. He, Kerry, and Miles were able to fully plan out volumes 1-9 before he died. While he obviously wasn’t able to have input on certain details and a lot of the production, the overall stories and their arcs for volumes 1-9 have his involvement. That being said, Monty preferred to focus on the animation aspect of the show and would leave most of the writing to Kerry and Miles.

Don't forget the Volume 5 Character Shorts like you did with Volume 4. They come before the volume itself.

The RWBY beat 'em up on Nintendo Switch is already out, actually FYI!

Andrew Hart

I’d like them to react to every volume’s soundtrack at some point, maybe once they’re caught up, then they would have something to react to during the hiatus, although that would be a long wait.

Andrew Hart

My prediction for The Normies reaction to Volume 5 Chapter 1, Qrow: “The city of Mistral.” Normies: “Oh they’re doing a cold open, interesting.”

Zen Reacts

Just a heads up Roosterteeth is going to be releasing information on the next RWBY game on July 9th

TomNook

Make sure to do the character shorts

Soundtracks once they catch up if its still hiatus time would be good since its not really needed for the story side of things. Speaking of soundtrack stuff I hope you guys noticed how, when Ren and Nora snuggle the backing track was a violin based version of "Boop" (which is sort of their pairing theme song) then when Ruby talks about loss and the focus is on Jaune the music switches to "Cold" (which is the sad song at the end of V3's credits), so if you are listening for music queues you can get lots of cool heads up.

Blake

I would argue that the soundtracks are very important for the story side of things since they give more insights into the characters through the lyrics.

Andrew Hart

I agree that the soundtracks are very important and they should definitely listen to them, I want them to. I just don’t know how they would fit them into their schedule at the moment, it would be easier if they did RWBY content on more than one day a week

As far as i know Monty had an outline for the entire show up to and including Volume 9. So his credits are completely justified in every regard. Just so you know. We miss you Monty.
