When Netflix announced they were making a show about Yasuke, I was excited. However, this is the first Netflix show since Devilman Crybaby that I turned off in the first ten minutes. The historical figure and time period is interesting enough where you don't need mech suits and magic to keep the viewer interested. I can't get past the bastardization of history and it's a huge misstep by Netflix, imo.

Me and my boy clowned our way through the first 4 episodes of this anime over the weekend. It's so terrible, it's funny lol. Good luck fellas.... 😬 SN: The 4th and final season of Castlevania will be airing in a couple weeks i believe. I would have recommended you guys binge through that show instead on netflix since there is a little bit of hype surrounding it right now, and it's actually a great series.

From what most are saying it is a bad anime but it's not random. There was a lot of hype for this show up until it actually released and dropped the ball. But you're right that it's a random show that got priority out of nowhere.

Hopefully you guys can enjoy this show much more than I did. I went in without many expectations and still could not enjoy it but that is just me.

yeah I honestly wouldn't continue this, I think castlevania is worth more your time, overall the best animated series on netflix imo plus it deserves more recognition for how excellent it is
