The latest Re:Zero episode was seriously the cutest! So much compassion from Subaru's parents, so much light and positivity! This episode definitely caught us in the feels. 

Being able to say goodbye is something so crucial when we are left with nothing but memories after our loved ones depart to another world. This is a heavy subject, and we recognize that the weigh is greater now after so many of us experienced loss during COVID-19. So this post isn't really here to collect engagement points, but to remind you that you are not alone, no matter what you're dealing with, you have someone to talk to. On the Normies Official discord, we offer a place where people can talk about these heavy subjects and thoughts with others safely and without judgement.

If u want to make this goodbye even sadder, there's a fun fact about Subaru's parents after he disappeared. Fun Fact: The author noted in an interview that in the real world, Subaru's parents are still looking for him with the police everyday but to no avail. His Mom is an emotional mess whereas his Dad can only console her while they continue the search.

I really like that they went back to kind of fill in some gaps in Subaru's past here. Its not something that the viewer is really expecting, and you'd think that you would want that near the beginning. But, I think having it here is nice because it allows you to see Subaru without that filter first, and then have him visibly change over time.

Yeah. this is also where knowledge of Isekai in general helps as well. In Isekai, you NEVER really see the MC's life before they got transported, so for Re:Zero to show it is kinda a big deal in a "meta" kind of way too lol.
