dont know if anyone will find this helpful, but during the fillers for the second chunin exams the female pain (not konan) appears in the fillers taking the second chunin exams as well as a jinchuruki appearing. It ends with the female pain returning to the rain village and reporting to konan who is then given a S rank mission, which end with her body being taken to the tower and vecoming one of the pains. As for the jinchuruki it ends with kakuzu and hidan appearing.

Another fun fact i think that jinhuruki and another that we havent seen were the 2 already captured when the akatsuki extracted shukaku from gaara.
