Holy crap! First Blind Wave does Spirited Away, and now you guys with Your Name! This has been a week of amazing movie drops! I'm kind of surprised you could go this long without really hearing about it. It was huge back when it came out-- and for good reason. Definitely one of my favorite anime movies.

A silent Voice, Weathering with you, and Your name are all phenominal movies if u guys get the chance 2 you should see the other 2. I personally like A silent Voice> Weathering with you> your name but all goated. also i want to eat your pancreas was also a great movie. all sub of course imo ive heard their dubs and none of the emotional scenes hit me at all in the dub

Amazing Reaction Normies!!!! I was pleasantly surprised by this one!!! Your Name is my favorite anime movie Ive ever watched, and thats a huge compliment say that with anime movies. The dub was pretty nice as well. Ive never heard the dub VA for Your Name so it was pretty dope to watch it with yall. This movie def is a masterpiece. 🔥😭🌟

This movie was like the greatest anime movie of all time for like 4 years lol. Both the highest grossing anime movie of all time and the most critically acclaimed. Still a fan favorite cult. I'm so glad you guys watched it.. the non-linear storytelling and the prettiest of animations really made this a favorite of mine. And i would suggest you guys definitely go for A Silent Voice next..

wow, wasn't expecting this today. I love this movie and great reaction guys. One of my favs in all movies, not just anime. This director (Makuto Shinkai) is amazing and I started watching his works. They are absolutely beautiful, story wise and animation wise. 'A Garden of words' - is the peak of animation in my opinion. And Weathering with you is by this same director and takes place in the same universe as Your Name

Ahh This is one of my favorites!! So glad you all enjoyed it. You asked for suggestions, I think A Silent Voice would also be something you all love. The dub for it is great too if you’re wondering or prefer it.

Oh, and as for suggestions... I suspect you're going to hear all about A Silent Voice and Weathering With You... Which are both also great standalone films that you should see at some point... But the one that's just as good... that I hardly ever see mentioned is The Anthem of the Heart. It's another beautiful, emotional, really moving one. And because I know the others are going to get so much more love... Anthem of the Heart has to be my top pick!

I think "The Boy and the Beast" or "Summer Wars" would be great reactions from you guys! "A Silent Voice" as mentioned by others. "Weathering With You" is also good since you've seen "Your Name", and just as visually stunning! And if you want a fun, nostalgic throwback, try "Digimon: The Movie" from 2000. The English dub! It's a combination of three Digimon movies, that they made into one film for American audiences (I know, it sounds crazy haha). It is still hands down one of my favorites. Don't need to remember the plot of the show at all. Funny as hell and you'll like the music!

Sword Of The Stranger is a soild pick, fantastic movie with arguably one of the most well animated fight scenes and a superb dub

it feels like whenever nahid is reacting(with a few exceptions like AoT) its gonna be dubbed. they always say that is so that they can follow along better. but im pretty sure some of them cant keep up with subs

@Chris, I worked on Chinese and Japanese video game trailers that included a panty shot and a butt cheek shot and they were the most scrutinized shots I've worked on in my life, haha. The best part was dealing with translators because they kept talking about the "juicy-ness" of the skin and I couldn't help but think they meant another word, but I've kept the term with me to this day.

I wouldn't say "way better". Its a different subject matter and depending on what you are looking for in a movie could be dependent on what you go with. A Silent Voice is much more introspective and the story is grounded in reality, where as Your Name is a fun adventure in the land of emotions with gorgeous animation. Story, A Silent Voice wins. Visuals, Your Name wins. Characters, A Silent Voice wins. Plot, Your Name wins.

Thank you for introducing me to the Digimon movie. I’ve barely seen anything Digimon and I was busting out laughing at some of the lines. It’s like a less funny version of the Ghost Stories dub.

I am not one to necessarily believe in soul mates but this movie makes me think twice about it. I think it is such a poetic explanation for the idea of soul mates. What if we all have these sorts of dreams of that one person we are supposed to meet but we just can't remember?

This is my absolute favorite anime movie (closely followed by I want to eat your pancreas, Castle in the Sky and A Silent Voice)! And whatever movies might come along in the future it will forever have a special place in my heart, because it thought me how got it can feel just to let yourself be carried away and cry! I'm telling you, I bawled more than Mitsuha when Taki finally turned around in the end😭😭
