Damn y’all are way too hard on John walker don’t even try to see anything from his perspective. y’all really seem to look at things in the most black and white way possible.

Lmao leave my man alone he just saw his best friend get killed I feel like most people would’ve done the same thing in his situation.

Too pretend that we are all like Steve and not John is just wishful thinking

Ive been paying more attention to imagery lately its actually pretty amazing. First thing I noticed is that Steve was always clean shaven until he went rogue post-Civil War. John Walker was clean shaven when he debuted in front of cameras but once he left the limelight and actually started fighting, his stubble stated to grow out. Some symbolism there I'm sure of it. There's also a ton of stuff going on in that last scene of John just staring at the crowd. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure we never saw Steve get blood on his suit or shield.

I really can't tell if Suraj does this stuff to be a troll or his brain is just fucked. Going so hard defending John Walker.

Max

I stand corrected. The first FOUR episodes of this show are better than the entirety of WandaVision combined.

Losing brain cells listening to Nahid talk.

Can't tell if you're stupid or don't understand good writing.

The dialogue in WandaVision is so much better

I try not to be mean but he usually doesn't make good points and it makes me feel like an ass for pointing it out 😔

I disagree with Mickey. The Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU movie, and I still think WandaVision blows this show out of the water easily. They hype was just so high for that one. The mystery and story is so damn good. As with this show, so far its been up and down. 1st episode was ok. 2nd was great. 3rd was ok, as Chris said. Just ok. THIS episode was awesome. WandaVision still on top, but I love Sam as Cap now. I want him to take the mantle. So they've succeeded there.

Loco Logic

Agreed. WandaVision is more creatively ambitious, was more confident in its direction, and had me engaged from beginning to end. So far Falcon has been the very definition of 'okay'. Sometimes very good, sometimes bland, but still enjoyable overall.

WandaVision was a very predictable show looking back so I kinda agree that this show is more likable because its so straight foward. when a show tries to be a mystery show but is predictable in its righting can we really say it was good? imo no. Also I think Sam and Bucky are more relatable/likable than Wanda and Vision in general. Plus I mean this show has Zemo.

Bob

The dialogue in this show can be straight up cringy at times.

Mo there is no doubt in my mind that YOU are objectively wrong lol there's definitely personal preference, so I can see why some would enjoy this show over the other simply becauseof different genre. But when we're talking writing and pacing, WV has it beat. I think the only weak episode in that series was episode 7, which dragged. The rest were just so wonderfully crafted and the attention to detail with the psychological hints and eater eggs was so good. It's odd that people criticize the "generic cgi battle", as if this isn't Marvel. This show started off with such a scene. And it WAS amazing. I hear nothing but praise for it. But is it not a generic CGI battle? In the case of WandaVision, it was actually so damn cool that they didn't take that route at all until the end, which was an eventual inevitability. These are super hero shows. There's gonna be a final battle at the end of the movie or show. Duh. But in fact, the Ship of Theesius BREAKS that mold. Such a great resolution to that battle, and it would make sense that Vision, going up against himself, would have a theological battle be what stops the fighting. Great writing and it shows they really understand the character. So far, episode 4 of FaWS is the only one that has reached that bar of WV. And like I said, CA Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU movie. This type of show is definitely up my alley, but I objectively see it's shortcomings so far. I know some episodes are sub par when I don't really want to watch the reactions to it. Happened with Ep 1 (aside from the beginning) and with Ep 3. I was like ehhh I'll watch the reactiks from my favorite creators, and that's about it. With an episode like this, I want to watch EVERYONES reactions. That's how I felt with WV for every episode except 7.

AyPeeElTee .

bro, there is no such as being "objectively wrong" when discussing things that depend strictly on subjective enjoyment. there is an ancient proverb that should help you cast away this reasoning fallacy that you carry, and it is: different stokes for different folks...
