As a manga reader I will say there will definetly be a part 2 or a movie/movies, because there is no way that the last episode will wrap up this series... not unless its like 5 hours long, not exagerating. Episode 16 is supposed to end at chapter 116 and as of next month there would be 139 chapters of Aot.

Don't know where the rumors about movie start, it's a 2 course season just like season 3 with 23 chapters left to cover. Season 4 part 1 also covered 23 chapters btw

I’m hoping the last episode is an extended one because I have a hunch where they’re gonna end this season. They would need to fit a lot of events into one episode if they decide to end it at a specific moment that is a perfect cliff hanger.

I wanna say this because about...Xaver (how some spellings showed ZSaver) and his family, from what we learned from Marley pov from Reiner. His dad was a Marleyan sexed up an Eldian woman and then told Reiner basically "Screw you, my other family n I will die What's that Eldian b*tch doing making YOU a warrior. My family is fcked" it's a serious crime for Marleys and Eldias making love babies that eventually kill the Marleyians and send the Eldians to Paradis. She and her child would have died regardless at the end of her mindset.

this is my theory on the euthanization that eren and zeke have planned, much earlier in the series it was told to us that if one of the nine titans including the founding titan were to die of old age or some other reason that did not involve getting eaten by a titan then the titan power they had would be passed on to a "yet to be born" subject of ymir, so if eren and zeke were to succeed in their plan and then made sure eren died before his power could be eaten then the founding titan would be lost forever and thus no one could reverse their euthanization plan

Eren got his fathers memories when he touched historia at the end of season 3 when they were getting awarded from coming back, not at the cave. Big difference

As someone who has read the manga, there's definitely going to be either an AOT movie or a Season 4 Part 2. Episode 16 is going to end on a crazy cliffhanger and there is a TON of story left to cover, and that's even without Chapter 139, which will be released April 9th to end the Manga. They could probably wrap up the series with 10 more episodes, which would put all of Season 4 at the 25 or 26 episode mark.

What they said in Japanese was 安樂死 (Euthanasia), which is the practice of intentionally ending a life to relieve pain and suffering. Is it just me or are people not understanding that Erin and Zeke means to put down all the Eldian's, not that they are making them unable to bear children (which is called Neuter).
