Were you surprised to find out that Fraudin & the demons could feel the same for loss of their loved ones just as the angels and humans? Does it make them make them the same?

Oh yeah absolutely!!! They may dwell in the dark but they have loved ones, can feel pain, and experience loss! It’s why I like the demons so much

I wasn't that surprised and kinda like it, it makes them more compelling characters.

I would say yes, it does make them the same. The angels and demons are essentially the same. The main difference is their appearance. Both groups are powerful and willing to commit terrible acts for their causes.

Absolutely, in Seven deadly sins you have different races. Humans, fairies, giants, demons, and angels. They aren't demons as we depict as evil creatures from hell, but another race that coinhabited until things got bad. It's hard to call the demons evil because we've seen humans and angels doing the worst things and those are typically the "good" guys. The only difference is the race and ability
