In Dark answers always come in time (no pun intended) but hopefully you’ll keep the opening scene in the back of your minds. I feel like many other Dark reactors forgot about this scene later on.

We also got some close ups on a couple of cool objects worth taking note of. The calendar in the Kahnwald house is emphasized both in the future with Jonas (you can see the “X”s stop a week earlier and the day of the apocalypse is circled) and again in 2020 when Hannah marks off an X on the last day. Another object worth tracking is the St. Christopher’s necklace we see Jonas looking at while looking at the picture of Marta. We also see Katarina creating a map of the caves which I believe is the same map that older Jonas later hides in his fathers art room for the younger Jonas to find.

Lmao my last comment but if you pause on the photo of the Sic Mundus group you should be able to recognize 5 people - three of them we were “introduced” to in this episode, although they had dialogue we did not get names from them and two characters that we have previously been introduced to already.

Dudes: seriously, make a basic family tree. It's much easier if you know the names of the people in the 4 families at this point. Elizabeth is the name of the Charlotte's daughter.

But if you know "its Charlotte's deaf daughter" does knowing the first name by memory really matter? Especially since they are using the app now that updates based on episode. Also, if you would have watched the whole video you would know they call her Elizabeth in the discussion.

I think they are following just fine. They dont often miss anything big or important. They might miss little things, but that comes from multiple factors, especially when watching something not in your native language that you are seeing for the first time. Plus the best reaction moments are when things are just about to slip by and at the last minute it hits and they lose their minds...why change that?

Just fyi, j in German is always pronounced like y in English. Jonas in Dark is pronounced almost the same way as the Jonas in Skam.

Ideally that would be the best however they react to multiple TV shows in a span of any given week and from different videos I've seen them mention, they tend only binge 2-3 at most in a row of the same TV series and move onto other individual shows to cater to their wider audience.

The new character they introduced, Inspector Clausen, is played by an incredible actor. He’s on this amazing, underrated gem of a series I love called Deutschland 83, which I hope you guys consider watching after Dark. It’s a cold war espionage drama, and there are only going to be three seasons, two of which already aired. He was also in Inglorious Bastards, Sense8, and Fargo.

You definitely have to watch the Lost reactions then. It started with Nikki and Suraj, then Rana joined, and Suraj kind of took a back seat and they were probably my favorite duo. Screaming at the screen, at each other, crying, embracing, smacking everything, it was all just hilariously amazing.

That painting in is called 'The Fall of the Damned' by Peter Paul Rubens done in 1620 but in 1959 a German Philosopher called Walter Menzel destroyed it by throwing acid on it.

So the truck. Its not a spoiler, that stories over we dont see the truck again. In season one Alexander pulled the barrles out of the cave so Charlotte wouldnt find them when she got the search warrant (she did find some yellow paint chips), he hid the barrels in the truck and had Woller hide the truck with his sister, she had the keys. The barrels have been moved again, you just saw them burying them.

You could have said "It's implied the truck was used to move the barrels out of the cave, then into the power plant"

FUN FACT: In the beginning when it shows the book Noah is looking at and it says The Final Cycle begins June 27th 2020, That is actually when the 3rd and final season dropped on Netflix. This show was soo well planned out its ridiculous.

Two bits of information for this episode: 1. The song what's been playing in the bg as Magnus is entering the trailer of the hooker is called 'Jeanny' by Falco. It's the song young Katharina was talking about with her friends at school in season 1. It's about the girl with the red lipstick, going into the forest and gets murdered. 2. Translation of what the french guys were saying before they were hung: 'No, no. Stop!...Who are you? You are hiding it!...There, behind the wall! We saw it!...We followed the signal...Till the dead zone...You are hiding god!...You must not hide god...He is not yours alone!...You must not hide god...No!'

make sure you guys are watching with the regular English subtitles, not the one with [CC] next to it. I don't know why, but the translation for the latter is apparently not as good.
