Let's not forget the context of what Helbram did, humans pretended to be his friend and then slowly tortured his actual friends to death in front of him. It's not like he just decided to kill humans for fun, he went insane from betrayal and guilt and was tortured by his anger all the while. What he did was terrible, but after centuries of being dead Helbram seemed truly repentant for the things he had done wrong which I would say is very much grounds for forgiveness.

You seem to have short memory. Helbram loved humans more than any other fairies. He didn't left the fairy king, he was captured by humans who deceived him.(he took his human form from one of them). After that those humans tortured and kills his friends then he's gone crazy, it wasn't gratuitous. And when he was under Hendrickson control he was resurrected by a spell which made him crazier. What he did is unforgivable but he honestly already paid for it and not being a little sorry for him it's intolerant in my opinion. Meliodas did worse when he was a commandement by the way you were more open minded with the demons.

The one thing I do appreciate about 7 Deadly Sins is the friendship between all the female characters. Like in this episode, Diane felt horrible and guilty for pushing Elizabeth to her into eventual death (unknowingly) but Elizabeth (not King! though both he and Gowther tried) came through with her cool ass goddess powers, eliminated the negative darkness and reassured her of their friendship. 😭🥺😊 More girls saving girls in any form please! lol

To be fair, it's been awhile for them since they saw Helbram's story so it's understandable if they don't remember it all
