Chi can mean several things as an example, 千 (chi) meaning "thousand", 智 (chi) meaning "wisdom, intellect" or 散 (chi) meaning "scatter". And Rin means “cold”, “dignified” or “severe”. Though I'm pretty sure it's used as a form of affection just like Tan for Emillia and Beako for Beatrice

Same as when Naruto ends his sentences in “ya know” or “dattebayo”. You’ll find it in probably every anime slick

The "tan" "chi" "rin" at the end of the names are just suffixes kinda like a nickname with friends.
