NOOO DAVIIIIIIS!!! I'm angry!!!!

This episode had some cool body snatcher accusatory moments that reminded me of some of my old fave movies. There is more to Sarge than meets the eye! I really dig the whole explanation actually. It could sound convoluted but when you think about it, it actually makes a whole lot of sense! Can't WAIT until the last 3 episodes of this season!

Yeah I agree, I love the explanation too. For all the stuff that people say about season 6 I think that was a very well done and underrated aspect. To bring back and old face, have a bunch of clues (same DNA, no robot hand, lived 100 years etc) and deliver an explanation that makes sense and fits with all them clues, is surprising, yet isn't overly conveluted and expands on a thing in a previous season is seriously impressive. And I think they deserve the credit for it.

Why would they get near his possessed body? They were trying to run from her remember. Izel got out of him right before she dropped him so they would be trying to save her in his body from their point of view. They wouldn’t have seen her come out of him before reacting to the drop if that was their goal. It’s hard to tell but izel is going as fast as yo-yo during her body swaps. So to them it would be izel falling in Davis body. So they would be saving her and risking being repossessed which happened to Mack.

They were also conveying being in shock, pretty well. It’s easy out of the moment like we are to be I would have just caught him. But what’s your state of mind as you watch this lady do all the stuff she’s doing. What happens if you do react. Are you hoping he doesn’t fall, and the second he does it’s too late to react. Based on physics you would have to position under him before he fell from that height to even attempt a catch, of which will not go well. And again they were just all in shock and from someone who has witnessed tragedy first hand I respect how they portrayed that.

As always, Suraj acts like he would do anything different in this situation.

When you watch the scene you can see that everyone is hesitant to do anything, and all of them are practically petrified after Izel shoots Piper in the hand. Between that and Davis jumping up onto the ledge they were just in shock and paralyzed by what was going on, Izel was using their feelings for each other against them, they were especially afraid to act because they didn't want to hurt anyone. Also it's a lot harder to catch someone falling than you'd think it is, and it happens a lot faster too.

Henry Wallace

they couldn't catch Davis as he was falling slowly just for dramatic effect. It's not that easy to catch someone falling at full speed. The momentum would make catching him impossible.

Just letting you Normies know, Marvel TV just announced that Season 7 will begin May 27th, 13 final episodes of this great show. And just in time for you folks with catching up :D

K Murray

For real, I've tried to catch someone before from a short drop and it's insanely hard. A person will fall from 10 feet up in like a third of a second. Not to mention a big guy like Davis who is "intentionally" landing on his head.

To be honest I was also salty Davis died like that, he survived whatever gave him that scar and dies to a moderate fall

Saifu

They brought him back just to kill him again 2 seasons later lol.

I understand both sides of the Davis debate. Everything happened so fast and without any idea of how to regain control of the situation that the whole team was unable to think through let alone even see most of what was happening. However, I do agree with Suraj’s sentiment that Davis’s untimely fall was dramatic yet very anti-climactic. The show slowed down a bunch to highlight Izel’s power, but the show failed to show any real contrast to her speed. Most of the time, she body-swapped while everyone was still, so I can see how at glance she seemed to be moving at normal speeds relative to everyone else.

good reaction! tho your microphones are a little too close to yall when you shout lol

Rime Pendragon

Who the fuck cares about Davis ?

Jessica

Clearly the nomies do, as do others. Kinda rude to say that after a character death.

i know a lot of people drag season 6 but the show was intended to end at season 5. the writers had no idea about their fate so the s5 finale was written as a series ender. it tied up everything that needed to be tied up. then they got picked up for two more short ones and are just kinda like ok let's just have fun with it. you can really feel that. i actually had fun watching this season as it aired live and i'm excited about what's in store for s7. still one of my favorite shows, aka the show of my heart, despite the story not being as strong as it was in past seasons. i'm glad we actually get to end the series where they knew ahead of time that the final season was the final season. for a lot of years it didn't seem like that would happen so despite all of abc's bullshit in the way they handled this show, i'm at least thankful for that.

If you look at a freefall calculator, Davis had roughly 1 second from the time he fell to the time he hit the floor. He landed on his neck, which is pretty fragile and will snap if you land on it, even at only a hight of 5 meters or so. No one could catch him cause human reaction time is roughly .25 seconds and they were all disoriented from just being possessed. It's very plausible that they couldn't catch Davis and that kind of fall would kill him. RIP Davis.
