So y’all kinda picked up on it but as Tanjiro was mid fall he changed forms. Tanjiro realized that the mother no longer had any intention to fight back, finishes her with his Fifth Style: The Merciful Rain of a Dry Day instead of the First Style as originally intended.

They did cut the strings on the in the previous ep, but there was these tiny spiders that reattach themselves on the kids backs over and over and Inosuke wanted to cut the spiders all up but Tanjiro stated that, it was pointless.

Tanjiro is not gonna just kill his fellow demon slayers like that. Help is on the way so it wouldn't have been hard to secure them as best as they could. Too bad the demon mom was desperate and broke their necks. :(

Sadly I don't think there was much Tanjiro or Inosuke could've done to save the other slayers. I remember a video or two ago you guys stated that Tanjiro is "too nice" and didn't have any flaws, well his naiveté in thinking that he can "save" everyone is his biggest flaw. Even Urokodaki stated that he was too kind a while back.
