Here’s the thing you aren’t supposed to enjoy them constantly being separated (that’s the point) but on the flip side of this you need some kind of drama between characters in relationships or it just gets boring. Many people didn’t like the Mack and Yo-yo storyline because they felt Keller was not going to last. It all felt unnecessary. We as viewers want Fitzsimmons to be happy but time and time again has show that once a couple gets together after will they won’t they then they get boring. I’d rather have them fighting just to be in the same room then unnecessary drama because at least that is interesting and makes you care when they do get to be together. If you guys didn’t realize FitzSimmons rarely even do relationships things on this show and they have been together for 3 going on 4 years. The drama is the curse and it allows them to do things apart that are separate from just being with each other. Suraj didn’t you hate in lost when Kate would flip flop between jack and sawyer just for drama. That kind of unnecessary drama. This is what we don’t want. We want a sun and Jin. That’s what you do if you don’t want cliche relationship tropes you split them up. The fitzsimmons storyline also had the benefit of keeping daisy away because once she is put in situation it is very hard to have believable conflict. We couldn’t have the sarge vs team conflict we did with her being there solving everything with a quake. It may seem repetitive but think of how it changes and effects FitzSimmons differently each time. Simmons showed a darker side and Fitz showed his own flaws like Marketa mentioned. We think we want them together but want we really want is just for them not constantly having to search for each other. That’s what you are tired of.

I get you guys on the fitzsimkoms thing but i feel like the pacing of this show is perfect because this episode when those feelings are at their height of just wanting Fitzsimmoms to be together already but next episode I feel is a great payoff to the will they won’t they, it’s easily top3 SHIELD episode for me. That episode is beautiful

A big thing this episode is Simmons fixing what she did in the premiere episode and seeing coulson die.

The FitzSimmons never being together for too long thing is my favorite everpresent thing of the show. It's not a story about the two of them being apart because of something any the two of the does, Instead it's a story about the two of them being together because the world seems to always want them apart. Being separated makes it mean more when they're together.

Fitzsimmons are still my favourite but I completely agree with Suraj and Chris about their arc. I just want them to be together working with the team. Can't wait for the reaction to the next episode.
