The show got to play with real history a bit here. Both in Vane's fire ship and the Maroon camps. I always enjoy them mixing in history with the story. The mention of Vane breaking the guy's jaw made me recall the video of Toby Stephens telling the story of Zach McGowan actually breaking a stunt man's jaw in season 2. https://youtu.be/cXXp1B18gPY

That’s what I love most about this show. That I’m constantly surprised by the arcs and plot twists. It’s also up there with Game of Thrones and Veronica Mars in terms of how much plots it successfully handles at once. ..God, I love this show.
