No double upload of the 100 this week?

I love that y’all love this season. Season 5 is my favorite season by far

Kataleesi

Idk wait til y’all meet some of these murderers and then decide if they should be treated all nice like. Some of them yeah sure they could do good if given the chance but that shoe doesn’t fit everyone.

This is my favorite episode of this season. I remember how internet and social media went wild after this episode. Season 5 started later than previous seasons so there was one year hiatus between season 4 and season 5 and everyone just couldn't wait for Bellamy and Clarke reunion, it was such a big deal.

Yay first!! There are 2 more seasons left after this. I don't really have much to explain with this episode, I love it just as much as Chris. The season only gets better, ya'll ain't seen nuthin yet. It just goes up and up and up all season long. IIRC, the sentence to the Eligius Prison ship and the mining colony, is for life. As for the advanced weapon, the show will explain that. Remember that Diyoza said something about a fascist government trying to take her home, so I would guess that the interstellar work camp would be one of the things that were legal. As for the Expanse references, they actually went through a writer's room purge after season 5 and got one of the writers from The Expanse. So you have that to look forward to in season 6. Also, Charmaine Diyoza is absolutely incredible. Amazing character. Keep in mind what I said last week about the villains in this season, because they are complicated beyond belief. Not everyone is who they seem to be.

Adam is Magic

There was much packed into this episode with plenty of action, plot twists, exposition, and great character moments. The rest of the season is mostly like that every episode.

A life sentence on earth and a life sentence in space with intermittent cryosleeping would feel the same length wise for the person serving that sentence. You don't feel the passage of time when you're frozen, It's not like you'd live any more accumulated conscious years than you would had you just served the sentence consecutively on Earth. Timewise one isn't crueler than the other... Even from the slaver/corporation point of view, you don't have this asset "forever", you'd still only have him for the finite 70-100 years, it would just be spread out intermittently instead of a consecutive period. The whole slave labor / mining work is another issue altogether.

I was annoyed by the prisoner group from the get-go cuz they landed that big ass ship in the middle of Eden! They could've set the whole thing on fire!! Arg, that move drove me crazy. The LaserCom scene is one of my favs, how they all slowly realize it's Clarke. And yes Rana, bulkier goateed Bellamy? Here for it.

"He's done with Clarke." That's officially the funniest thing I've ever heard Pat say.

So proud of PDubs! Was this his first intro?

dayummm y'all talking about criminal justice/reform.. getting deep with The 100... aw Suraj, don't beat yourself up too bad.. we all say some shit every once in a while without thinking too much about it- one note though- not all people who are convicted are actually guilty- for me, I think prisons should ideally be about keeping dangerous people away from the rest of society.. I am less concerned about the need for punishment, but that's just me.
