For a season in which one of the main narrative devices is foreshadowing, its pretty perfect that the one episode that deals the most with Hydra uses flashback.

Chelsea

Nahid dropping some knowledge about Matahari.. the more you know :p

Deadpool

You know you can always expect things to get complicated when time travel is involved but WOW this season gets so complicated I love this season but I actually miss the simple grounded things they use to deal with

Calculatus Eliminatus

The beauty of this is that the Normies are exactly like the team with all the arguing and that's what the writers wanted. See both sides. Civil War all over again.

Kimberlan

CrossFit Tinkerbell is your daughter? That's my favorite line from this episode! AOS is always bringing things back, Brown Pat's face about the dog thing was priceless! The callbacks this season had me in awe of the writing this season!

Rob Flynn

"How are they all evil but he sucks the most!?" Lol, Chris.... that's the best way to sum up my feelings about that guy, too.

Christopher simeon

A little note. Ruby is implied to be the daughter of red skull which a previous episode foreshadowed with her having a skull on her shirt

Talbot season 2: "Ill never on gods green earth ever work with you." Talbot season 5: "Im sorry, Coulson. I tried to hang on, but shield never came."

I love how they use Daniel Whitehall to connect the history of hydra post WW2. He works first under red skull, then he grows old in prison, and while he is there Malick comes and visits him when he was young, then Alexander Pierce releases him, then he goes and find Daisys mom and turn young again, then he teaches Hale at the hydra academy, until he works in hydra until shields fall, then we meet him in present day working for hydra. And I love that.

I really the tie back to Avengers with the Chitari ship, and that Hydra was contacing aliens and making deals, its just so cool.

Fitz had Daisy dead to rights. She's stubborn and completely unable to listen to reason, and when things go sideways, she has, on more than one occasion, decided to take her ball and go home. And while his tactics sucked, he had to make a call, and he did. Which is something Daisy is chronically incapable of doing. Oh, and thanks for bringing Nahid back. Was great hearing his perspective.

Almost everybody on the team this season is unable to listen to reason. And not to defend daisy but Fitz has his own history of wanting to take his ball and go home a couple of times. Most recently at the end of season 4, but was talked out of it by a certain someone.
