I work on a ferry/cruise ship sailing between Norway and Denmark. We will have a "Russ Cruise" in February. That should be interesting.

Hey! I love that y'all are reacting to SKAM!! After you finish please react to the SKAM Bloopers, They are on youtube and from the official SKAM creators it shows really cool behind the scenes and insight (I know you guys were interested on how they shot things and how authentic scenes and the acting was and this shows you how and why) and it's still fun in the SKAM way with all the wonderful cast haha there are Bloopers for each season

I know you guys love the music, when your on spotify you should check out all the skam remakes playlists! Every skam remake has amazing music as well! Now this is a bit of a slower paced episode imo, really just to get into Sana's mindset & see how she reacts when she is bullied. Still really good to see that. I think the main thing with Skam is that nobody communicates and that is where most of the problems come from so good on you for recognizing that. The carrot thing is still something I never get.. Can anybody enlighten me? Can't wait for the upcoming episodes though because actions have consequences... See you next week!

I think it's just that Sana and Yousef's first bonding moment was him teaching her how to cut carrots correctly so its kind of "their thing"

If you pay attention to everyones outfit in this episode you see that when Sana meets the girls in the schoolyard they are all wearing white/light tops, when Yousef enters the kitchen he is wearing white, and when she visits Isak and Even they are wearing matching white t-shirts. Sana wears all black the whole episode meaning she feels alone and distanced from all the others. It was the same in episode 3 of the season when they had the bus meeting with Pepsi Max squad and they were all sitting around the table wearing white while Sana was the only one wearing black. Just small details that emphasizes how Sana feels like an outsider

Don't know if y'all picked up on this, but the "yellow curtains" wifi password was a callback to season 3, episode 5 when Isak and Even are cuddling in bed and talking about parallel universes. Isak says something about how one thing would be different in their parallel universes, like the curtain color. And then Evens says, so yellow curtains then?! Anyway, the attention to detail on this show is just one of the many things that makes it so incredible.

Also just wanted to say that I'm glad Sarah is sticking around for the season 4 reactions- she's been a great addition!

Jamilla was a part of the hijab squad in the second season! Sana & Chris posted messages between Sana's other brother & Jamilla on facebook I think.

the carrots are a symbol for the things she wants but thinks she can't have because of her religion

Jamila is also engaged to Sanas other brother. An older brother we have not seen.

Not sure if this has been explained or not but the "pinecone tied to your russ hat" is from a russ tradition where you do certain dares and tie something to your hat when you've done them. A pinecone means you had sex in the woods. Many can be sexual but there are more innocent ones like chugging beer with tampons in your mouth, walk around a school day with bread shoes or having breakfast in a roundabout.
