Cool little tidbit for the dub watchers of this and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Nana is voiced by the woman who voiced Olivier Armstrong the big sister to Alex Armstrong who was voiced by All Might. Armstrongs are connected to MHA!

Because the show is all about inspiration and motivation and this episode is the peek of that. They gave him every reason to give up and he didn't. And it showed that he wasn't just a hollow generic hero, but that he actually portrayed that personal with sincerity. It was so much so that we thought he was going to DIE and All Might ended his own career just to beat the villain. No restraints, self sacrifice, and severe determination. You don't usually see such things portrayed so strongly. That's why it makes you cry. You're inspired by All Might the way the people in this fictional world are supposed to be.

The reason they don't just kill All for One is because All Might already tried that. In the short flash to when he first defeated All for One, dude's head is mush... and it didn't stick. All Might's mistake the first time was killing him and thinking that solved anything. By keeping him in captivity they can be sure of where he is and know immediately if he escapes, whereas when they thought he was dead he could take them by surprise. They *could* kill him and keep his corpse in a cage... but, like, i think this world has civil liberties​ and maybe that's just a bit too messed up? XD

So while MHA isn't perfect it does a lot really well it's basically shounen 101 the anime but it's executed very well so when suraj was like he thought the flashback would take up the whole episode I'm like you're thinking of the wrong anime that would be Naruto as good as it is they love their flashbacks and they'll happen anywhere climactic battle between lifelong adversaries let's put a flashback in the beginning middle and end of it jk (barely)

Hope she is alright! Its nice that these bigger group reaction channels exist because it feels like you are watching your favorite shows with your friends and can mute the outside world for a tiny bit of time. I lost my mom 3 years ago last month and reaction videos got me through most of is. Blind Wave watching Westworld and Black Sails definitely helped me through that kind of situation.

hey Normies just a heads up, the movie actually takes place before this fight. in the Anime the movie isn't referenced but it is in the manga so don't be confused about All Might still having his powers or anything else that might be referenced before the fight.

Amazing episode, amazing reaction. I found myself more a mix of Micky (wanting to rewatch the episode immediately) and Marketa (absorbed and emotionally affected by All Might's sacrifice of One-for-All) when I first saw this episode, though my friends were very much the rest and fired up by such an awesome finale. Glad we finally got here, Normies! It's been a long road, and well worth it.
