The jokes in the beginning of this series are from 2008 but as time goes on, this series gets SO MUCH funnier.

Fair warning, the first season was their weakest material. Give it til season 2 before deciding if you want to keep going with it.

I'm happy you guys are reacting to this. Don't worry guys Team Four Star are all big fans of Dragon Ball. The jokes or shots they take on some of the series tropes are made with love. As you see more of the abridge you can really see the love and care for the source material in it.
