Blog: ... I don't feel so good. (Patreon)

Hello everyone! 

Today I have to talk to you about not a very pleasant topic. Some of our patrons decided that it would be a good idea to share links to early and premium access episodes in the comment section under videos published on YouTube. So I wanted to let those of you who do that know that they need to not bother anymore, because posted links will no longer be available under any of our YouTube videos. 

Unfortunately this isn't the first time we have to deal with stolen content. This time we decided to take drastic action towards anyone who shares our unlisted or in any way locked content on any platform. 

First off, any patron who engages in such actions will be blocked with no rights of refund no matter how early into the month their pledge start. They will also be blacklisted and reported to Patreon. We will additionally work with other YouTube channels that create content similar to ours and who deal with similar issues such as stolen content or copyright infringement. We will share contact information on any user who will be caught engaging in stealing and sharing our content with other YouTube channels so that our peers are not your next victims. 

Lastly, since this has recently been affecting our Naruto series most of all, we are deleting all Naruto episodes that are still unlisted on YouTube and moving them to Vimeo. These episodes will be re-published when this process is over with strict security and password and will only be uploaded to YouTube on the day it is published on YouTube. We apologize to the 99% of obedient and respectful patrons that this might make your viewing experience a little less convenient and we thank you so much for  your continuing patronage despite all this. 

I would think this goes without saying, but since some people think publishing unlisted videos without our knowledge or approval is OK, I guess we have to say it. 

You are disrespecting our patrons who support us to watch our videos and enjoy a bit of exclusivity through early and premium access. 

You are disrespecting us as creators and owners of these videos. 

You put livelihood of 8 full-time employees in this company at risk by devaluing our perk system. 

All for what? 

You are deeply confused individual if you think this is some chivalrous Robin-Hoodery. We are not a big pharma selling overpriced epi-pens. We are a small business dependent on donations. So zip it, whoever you are.
