I dunno if you know about this, but there is a fan edited version of naruto + shippuden, called naruto kai. It gets updated every 6 months or so on the naruto subreddit. it takes out all the fillers and repeated flashbacks and reduces it down to 78 episode i believe.

I definitely understand your frustrations I personally didn’t find the show that compelling either until the final arc of the first half of Naruto (which is my favorite arc in all of Naruto) but this next arc is going to escalate the show

Then go seek reactions somewhere else. This "issue" has been addressed countless times on this channel. This is a group of friends who watch and react to shows while enjoying it through conversations and jokes. There's plenty of channels that feature just one or two reactors with less banter, but this has always been a core component of reactions on this channel and they've made it clear that that's not changing anytime soon. Its actually especially amusing considering were talking about Naruto here, which takes absolutely zero attention to detail to be able to follow it.

In what world is this a terrible episode? With the best action scene of the series so far, and giving villains reasons for their actions, also setting up contrasts with Zabuza so his true emotions in ep. 19 are more surprising and impactful. Not to mention Kakashi’s whole part. When they cut back to the bunny at the end, sure that may have been unnecessary, but does not warrant it being terrible in any way. EPISODE 8 is a terrible episode. Where they have non stop panning shots without dialogue, and they hardly move an inch the whole time. This episode is a far cry from that.

I think Micky and Chris in a reaction together is a bad combo. Esp in dialogue heavy shows. 3-4 people in a reaction is fine.

First reactors that I've ever seen not emote or empathize with Haku's plight. An incredibly tragic background, not matter how desensitized you are, and a very compelling counterpoint to the delusions Naruto has about being Hokage. Being a shinobi IS to be a tool, a weapon, for your village. This - as they've said in their reactions many times - is indeed NOT a kids show, and it deals with occasionally nuanced stuff like the meaning of purpose. I'm a little surprised and disappointed that you guys didn't pick up on that because you wanted some more action...

I really do appreciate snark, I'm a very snarky guy myself. But when reactors get really snarky towards a show it really lessens the quality of the reaction. I’m not saying you guys should be fake but honestly I think you should also take into account your audience, and 99% of your audience for this show loves this show unreasonably. I personally don’t want to watch someone take a flying shit on this show the first time through. Oh well.

So many whiners. It's freakin Naruto guys! I've watched every episode of this, Shippuden, and currently watching Boruto. I grew up trying to learn hand signs and playing a bunch of the games. But it's NARUTO. There's a lot of cringe and dumb characters and all the other worst aspects of shounen. I'm glad they're giving it a fair shake, because it's fun to see them watch it without all the nostalgia love, but it absolutely deserves the snark and jokes. Honestly, it doesn't get good until the chuunin exam arc anyways.

Bruh the main reason I have never really rewatched Naruto is because it's pacing is absolutely atrocious. Having the 1st 5 to 10 minutes of each episode be the last 5 to 10 minutes of the episode before, has to be painful when bingeing. Everyone talks about when show will get better, but this slow ass pacing continues right up until halfway through Shippuden. And I haven't even mentioned the fillers. My mind is firmly made up that Naruto is meant to be read primarily and only drop in on the show when you wanna see a cool fight animated.

the first reaction that disappointed me. The fight in the first few minutes was beautifully animated and the flashbacks were necessary. I can totally understand some frustration when the scenes are dragged out but did y'all really just complain about a flashback? Do you want the characters to stay 1 dimensional? Jesus

I re-watched the show with a friend not too long ago, and it really is bad, my friend could barely take it. I still love the show, but i understand how slow paced it is. The problem is when we see flashbacks we have already seen. If you guys do not like the way they react then stop paying to watch them react, you obviously don't like their style. This is how they feel about the show, give them time, the show gets better over time.

I don’t get the Chris hate, he was fine. I really dislike this trend of people who constantly try to get him excluded from reactions. They’re all friends, they want to include him. They all crack jokes, but some people get fixated on him for some reason. I don’t really care why they don’t like him to be included, I rather the Normies all do what they want to make the show enjoyable for themselves. Yes it is a business but even in business there comes a point when customers are being unreasonable and you have to put your foot down &amp; tell them to suck it up/deal with it. If they want to include or exclude him, that is their call, but honestly I think giving the fans too much of a say in who is included in reactions is BS. They will never be able to make everyone happy so they should do right by themselves. I rather they maintain their friendships than exclude people and potentially harm their relationships with each other. If the argument is “oH I pAy mOnIeS sO gEt RiD oF cHrIS”, then count me in the column of people who pay money and do want him included.
