Double Drops and New Show Updates! (Patreon)

Happy Monday everyone and first week of December! Hope you're getting your holiday shopping done early and that you had a great weekend! Marketa "Ketty Wap" Adminovitch went with Chris to the Childish Gambino concert in Nashville last night and are on their way back this morning! I see she has already typed up an update post explaining the dubs vs subs issue but I will go ahead and leave this post up as well for ya'll! This week we are rolling out some new shows for our Premium Access Patrons and finishing up Season 2 of Agents as well as the series finale of Gravity Falls :'(

We put up a poll last week to decide which of the following shows we will be double dropping: Gravity Falls, Fullmetal Alchemist and Agents of Shield. We like this format of asking which shows you would like to see double dropped! In the future we may not rope anime shows in the same category as live action shows to make it more balanced since anime is more probable to win out any poll against a live action show.

Fullmetal Alchemist was the winner of that poll, but since it's our first time issuing a poll like this, we're going to go ahead and double drop for ALL shows on the poll. That's right Gravity Falls, Agents and FMAB will all be getting double drops this week!

My Hero Academia will be out later today (cross your fingers for a double drop), we are watching the DUB for this. Naruto will be double drop premiering on Wednesday! We considered the poll results and saw that it was within a 60 vote differential with SUBS beating out the DUBS. However, after watching Episode 1 in DUB and Episode 2 in SUB, though we feel the subs boast the supperior voice acting chops we decided that DUBS for Naruto would be the best way for us to watch a long standing series. We will be watching with subtitles as well. We felt this would be better for us in the long run since we will be binging multiple episodes each time we record, and with 3 other anime we're watching alongside this, it would be easier for us to retain terms and names from the seires if we were listening in English. We hope you understand how we came to this decision as it was not an easy one! Believe it!
