Encoding in HD still. Hi everyone. Mistakes were made yesterday and the majority rule at the Normies here had us deciding to remove the video for professional reasons. Hope there are those of you that can understand why.

I would also like to point out that not once have we missed a Korra upload date. Yes they may have been after 5pm but that was before we issued that time frame deadline. There has yet to have been a Korra that was not posted on the day it was scheduled. Any comments or concerns expressing otherwise may be people remembering the ATLA days or people that were frustrated the reaction wasn't posted in the morning/afternoon.

We continue to wish you all to express your concerns be it negative or positive, hopefully always constructive. Thank you for choosing to support us, we understand if you feel you must take your money elsewhere. However we have always been straightforward with the communication here and we will continue to be. There will always be hiccups in a start up business that consists of friends working together and spending 24/7 together. Didn't mean to create any awkward vibes with the edit, mostly wanted to show how this amazing show had us forgetting anything that happened at the beginning. We are aware people come to our channel to forget about bad vibes and embrace the good. I just wanted to show something real that I feel had a good outcome because we were able to let things go (as we always do when we have these spats behind the camera) and let go and let love. Hope you all can let go and love us again too! Here is this amazing episode of Legend of KOOOORAAL!!!

All friends fight. It’s normal! I don’t understand why so many people are offended lol

Anonymous

You guys should remember that you’re humans, not machines, and it’s unreasonable to expect perfection every time. Yeah, we pay for services, but I don’t know any enterprise who doesn’t make a mistake every once in a while. Wish you guys the best, keep them coming! ̶A̶l̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶o̶w̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶i̶t̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶m̶u̶n̶i̶t̶y̶

That was a waste of time because Nahid look tense until the end

PKKite

Some people here seem too shut in to know what a real friendship looks like with its ups and downs. I wouldn't personally listen to the minority that wants happy rainbows 24/7 and cant stand criticism or real life.

Anonymous

What was the big deal? It was a little fight. That what REAL friends do. Lol I rather watch something real than anything else. Anyway I support whatever you guys decide. Always fun watching Korra with y’all. Don’t worry about butt hurt children in the comments.

Anonymous

Btw if you don’t include the fight in the uncut reaction I will be pissed 😂😂

Anonymous

Yea Don't listen to the fans to much remember this is y'all channel.

felix arrowny

Arguments happen between friends, I think most of us get that. I see good reasons for posting this raw or edited, but I can see how this version is probably for the better ultimately. Hyped for the future. This is arguably my favorite season and next ep is gonna bloooow your miiiiinds~

Anonymous

Next time invite Navi to keep you guys in check

Brace110

Now I’m worried we’re getting fake smiles and fake laughter. Nothing is worse than disingenuously.

Anonymous

Suraj, you should have edited out the part where you said you prefer NON-inverted controls. Now THAT is uncomfortable, and really ruined the reaction for me. ;) Great job with the edit(s), as always!

Anonymous

I'm sorry about these douchebags, Normies. You've always been professional and given over a hundred percent to get out all of this content on time. This really wasnt your fault, and you didn't deserve any of that backlash. Love you guys <3

Anthony

Yeah what the hell. I'm unsubbing because inverted is the one true way. This really makes me uncomfortable.

Anthony

It wasn't even a fight. They were terse with each other and maybe had some snap responses for a few minutes, but for the rest of the reaction they were just enjoying the show.

@eric.na.goo.yen

Sure it was a bit uncomfortable to watch at first, but it was also real. In a way, you guys share a part of yourselves with us. Your circle of friendship is something that we all appreciate, it’s part of why we choose to support your channel. This moment, however uncomfortable, was part of you. And we should appreciate it too. The good and the bad. It really would’ve been okay to share it too. But I understand why you chose to change it. I won’t fuss over it either way.

Anthony

No fake smiles here, it's the same video as before but they got rid of the small argument before the reaction started.

Anonymous

i hope they did not watch the finale that day

Lateralusian (Clem)

I honestly didn't find the previous edit uncomfortable.

Anonymous

are we getting a dopple drop next week_

Julia Contreras

If it was a decision that leaves you satisfied, I don't see the problem. The reaction still seems good to me. On the other hand, in yesterday's post I mentioned that I didn't know at what point of the 4th season you are in (or even if you've started it), but before watching the episode 4x08, maybe you would be interested in reading the post that Bryan Konietzko (executive producer/co-creator) wrote about what was happening behind the scenes and the reasons why the episode was structured in the way it was. Some people commented that it could be somewhat "spoilery", but given that at the time the creators posted the message hours before the episode was originally broadcasted, I really don't see it as such. I think you should have the option to read it beforehand if you like (maybe you already did, who knows) or read it right after if you wish. I think everyone here knows that you all are capable to decide what content you see and what not. But, personally, I think that taking this information into account for the subsequent discussion after the reaction would be interesting and would make it more complete. That's my two cents. http://bryankonietzko.tumblr.com/post/103173899927/a-few-preemptive-words-about-episode-408

Michael

While I agree with the supportive tone of your sentiment, I just want to amicably disagree a little bit...this is also a business. I pay $10 a month to access videos they produce, some that I could wait and see for free, so while it is their channel at this point as a source of their income they are also to a degree beholden to their audience. Which is why it is nice to see them respond quickly to criticisms and with a thorough and honest explanation, even if you may disagree with those who criticized. They should be themselves, because that's what makes the channel entertaining and great and makes me and others want to support them, but they also need to consider the wants of a diverse selection of paying customers at this point. It's a delicate balance they are still learning, and is further complicated by the fact that this sort of grassroots paid entertainment is still a fresh new thing and both producers like them and the paying audience don't quite have the groundwork to know what to expect and what to ask for like we all do with say, movies, tv, music, etc. where there are longstanding systems and expectations in place.

Michael

I think that's a little dismissive of people who have certain expectations for what is now paid entertainment. Not saying that people who reacted with extreme anger were warranted, but its fair for a paying customer to have criticisms of a piece of paid entertainment; its unfair of you to say that because they expected the same escapism and entertainment they have been getting all along that they somehow "can't stand criticism and real life". There were valid criticisms, as well as excessive rude ones, and as a business that takes money from consumers The Normies responded very quickly and openly, as both producer and consumer learn how to treat each other and what to expect in this new world of paid grassroots entertainment, which is different from established paid systems like cable tv, movies, music, etc. but also different from the decade+ of free YouTube and similar entertainment. Don't invalidate other people who pay $10 for a thing if they voiced their criticism in a reasonable and amicable way! =)

Let me make something clear to the other patrons before another shitstorm even thinks of imploding: THERE WERE NO OFFENDED PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS OF THE LAST VIDEO. NOT A ONE. EVERYONE WAS FINE. It was up for all of 20 minutes or so. The Normies felt like they could give us something better, so they pulled it and re-uploaded it, because they care that much about giving us the best quality. WHERE IT WENT WRONG was when the self-entitled whiners in the bunch started fishing for drama because they didn't get their video of random strangers watching a goddammed cartoon and had to wait just ONE more day for them to fix it. Rumors escalated, bitching commenced, and the comment section proceeded to win the "Biggest Jerkass Award". I love this show too and everything, but there was NO EXCUSE for that level of rudeness and assholery some people showed in the comments yesterday. Seriously? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Anonymous

Are we sure that enough people have given their opinion concerning their decision to take down the video? Cause I feel like some things haven't been said 1000 times.

Michael

I haven't yet watched this reaction, nor did I get a chance to see the one that caused all the ruckus; been busy with work! I saw a lot of the comments, though. I just want to say that I really enjoy what you guys do, or I wouldn't keep coming back and paying a portion of what little money I make towards you! Some people were a bit too harsh and irate with you all, but some of the criticisms seemed more balanced and reasonable, and it's very nice to see how quickly and openly you responded even if some people are now saying you shouldn't have done anything. Again, haven't seen either version of the video YET, but as a producer of PAID entertainment, the other fans need to acknowledge that this is a very new kind of business model; its very 21st century and both consumer and producer are learning how to react to each other and what to expect. You Normies have always been very upfront and honest, and the fact that you are your real selves as much as possible is what makes the videos so entertainment to watch, and that should never change. Everyone should focus on the fact that you are, on top of trying to "keep it real", also taking to heart criticisms and being proactive about making sure as many people are happy, on your end and on the viewers end, as you can without ruining the "product". Again, it's a learning experience for all of us and I'm very glad to support you through it as you bring me onto your couch with you, through the screen =)

Bros fight, friends forgive.

Anonymous

And before those butthurt few can say "well I paid for it, this is bs, I'm taking my money elsewhere" - don't let the door hit you on your way out. This isnt some corporate entertainment business that you can bully into doing whatever you say. I dont know what your lives are that your very EXISTENCE revolves around watching people watch stuff online - and let's be real here, we are all total weirdos for actually paying for it, lol - but it's probably best you leave and spend that money on actual life-related things that are actually a priority. Come back when you're ready to chill out and have fun again. This is a quality channel with genuinely fun and professional people that actually give a crap about their fans; instead of abusing that, just be happy they care enough to give you the best they have to offer. Tl;dr Now let's drop all of this nonsense and get back to having fun again. :)

Sal Inger

Whatever. Friends fight sometimes, big deal. I haven't seen the original upload, but I think I've got the gist of it through the comments. I think that you decided to keep the fight in shows how real you are with your community. It's shame some people would rather you censor yourselfs than put out the genuine product, just because the can't deal with a silly little fight between friends. Please don't give in to the vocal minorty the next time and censor yourself, just because a small part of your audience can't deal with some negative emotions from time to time.

PKKite

Nice try they are a LLC aka CORPORATE OMG. People do have the right to critic when they pull a product away after people complain its not HAPPY ENOUGH. And they do care about losing money you realize besides the regular normies they have EMPLOYEES who work for a LLC if only 8 people left for one month thats 800 out of someones pocket. But you can go ahead and live in your little world of happiness and sunshine where no one is negative lol

MojoJojoGojo

I'm pretty sure it's happening if I remember but is we getting a double release next week? Finale is soooo gooood

autumn

I know people make jokes and get all edgy about "trigger warnings" but this is exactly the right purpose for them. I think most people agree that leaving the fighting in was real and good and completely valid but I also get why it may have taken some people by surprise, so just putting some kind of note on the post with a warning could be helpful in the future! That way people won't be surprised or can avoid it, but the content stays real in the way you want it to

Selena

Tenzin was definitely winning against zaheer. He got so many hits and zaheer couldn’t land any. He was still doing okay with the three of them but the combustion bender really ended the fight. It shows you the difference between a master airbender and a newbie (although an accomplished acrobat)

Jason mcconahey

Tbh friends bicker all the tim ppl out here acting like they never argue

Dajefe70

I loved this reaction. I still would have preferred to watch the original, but whatevs

Anonymous

To be fair, seeing slight arguments or 'drama' if you will, is nothing new if you follow youtubers. I think enough of us have seen some serious stuff and shade thrown around with some other people on youtube that this in comparison is not THAT awkward anymore lol

Anonymous

Tenzin vs Zaheer is what happens when a fanboy meets a master.

Jay Aniakor

Wait wha? wasn't korra not posted for a couple weeks when Suraj was taking his break?

PKKite

Their was a warning in the description and the video.

Dajefe70

Yeah, they forgot about that. I didn't want to call them out for it cuz in the end, I still love 'em, lol

Whim

hey it's alright guys! sorry on behalf of all the comments people made that were probably hurtful to the team. wish there was a way to filter out triggered people in the comment sections

Anonymous

It is confirmed in this episode that zuko's daughter is now the fire lord which is why they only call him lord zuko, not fire lord zuko. General iroh even implied this last episode

Anonymous

I think you did the right thing (didn't see the other version, but if you feel it was bad enough to change, I completely support your decision). Thanks again for the video, I'm still supporting you.

MojoJojoGojo

Tenzin fought like he had so much to lose..which in the moment he did. He was such a timid fighter with timid instincts in the last 2 season's...we watch a new Tenzin get down. Avatar Aangs son showing who's the original airbender and not an acrobat karate master(zaheers is still my favoritw villain)...i loved it

Anonymous

solid re-edit

Edwin Wickey

Love it! I'm so happy!!! I think it makes sense knowing Zuko had a daughter as to why it's his grandson who got named Iroh. He never had a son. Also, BoomBae as a nickname is cracking me up!

Jackson Ranger

Tensing is a far superior air bender to Zaheer, he just couldn't beat all of them at once.

Jose

Am I the only one who really enjoyed the fight scene between Kya and Ming-Hua than the other ones. Don't get me wrong, i loved all the fight scenes in this episode, but the one that got me shocked the most was when Ming-Hua was being so innovative with her psychic waterbending considering the fact that she does not have any arms. I have to admit she is my favorite waterbender.

Darth Skhorrn

Man, I must have missed something juicy.

Julia Contreras

Seeing a fight between airbenders was great. But the versatility of techniques shown by Ming-Hua here and throughout the show was incredible. I really like this confrontation with Kya, but I feel that they were short in terms of showing Kya's abilities with her element. Regardless of that, it's one of my favorite fights in Korra.

Cls

1. I need that uncut reaction. 2. Review Voltron

Adam Vialpando

The bickering didn't really bother me too much. People fight, even among friends. And no one was really to blame for it. Surah kind of started it but Nahid wouldn't let it go. And I felt bad for Rana and Micky who were literally stuck between them. But does anyone really think that they won't be best buds again eventually? This is the Cozy 4 we're talking about!

Bryce Nielsen

You really didn't. It was a couple of passive aggressive comments thrown around for the first 30 seconds or so of the original video.

Anonamai

I hope this reaction is 100 times better than the last. Because I feel like I was robbed a solid argument. Soooo many questions but most importantly WHERE TF IS THE RED COUCH??

Lavota Carter

Do you guys think that having childhood fights possibly with Lin and Kya might have prepared Tenzin for this showdown? Tenzin was completely unfazed at deflecting whatever a waterbender and earthbender were throwing at him simultaneously before the 3-on-1 got too much for him because Zaheergot him distracted with ann airblast.

Jose

I dont want to hurt anyone in here personally, but Rana's scream is hilarious between 10:39 and 10:41 but I still love it hahah

Lurkingposter

Didn't Suraj miss the upload date for Korra when he was going through depression but he still wanted to edit the episode?

Anonymous

General iroh is zuko’s grandson, obviously zoku has a daughter. And also his daughter is the new fire lord

Anonymous

Stoked for the finale double drop

Anonymous

I really hate it to wait so suuuper long for a new episode. Horseman and other series coming so often ._.
