Welcome to our World of Warcraft Transmog Gold Guide! If you're new to the Transmog market, it can be tough to make any significant amount of gold. However, with a bit of effort and knowledge, you can turn your transmog farming into a profitable venture.

Getting Started:

There are two primary methods for getting started with transmog farming: High Volume, Moderate Return and Low Volume, High Return. Each method has its own pros and cons, and both can work well depending on your personal preferences and playstyle.

High Volume, Moderate Return:

The High Volume, Moderate Return method is all about farming as much transmog as you can get your hands on. This method is relatively easy, as you simply need to farm every dungeon in WoW for a maximum of 10 runs. You'll want to vendor any item that is below a certain threshold, such as 500 to 1000 gold per item.

The advantage of this method is that you'll be selling a large number of items at various values, which increases your chances of making sales. However, the downside is that you'll have to spend a lot of time reposting items, as you'll be selling so many of them every day. This method is best for those who want to make sales quickly and don't mind the extra work of reposting items.

Low Volume, High Return:

The Low Volume, High Return method, on the other hand, focuses on high-value items. These items can be farmed from dungeons or world zone drops that have a low drop chance but provide a high return. Some examples of these items are the Glorious Legplates, which can be farmed from Zul'Farrak, and the Obsidian Edged Blade, which can be obtained from a raid or purchased from the Black Market Auction House.

The advantage of this method is that you'll have fewer items to repost every day and you'll also have a chance to make a lot more gold per item. However, the downside is that it can take longer to see a return on your investment.

Common Themes:

One piece of advice that most gold-makers will give you is that you need to have at least 1000 items on the Auction House before you start seeing sales. This is true, but it's important to remember that you need a diverse variety of items to appeal to a wide range of buyers. It's like having a t-shirt store and only selling blue t-shirts. Not everyone will want blue t-shirts, so if you expand your product line, you'll generate more sales.

Suggested Gold Farms:

For both of these methods, we recommend starting by farming dungeons like Dire Maul, Zul'Farrak, Blackrock Depths, Black Fathom Deeps, and Sunwell. These dungeons provide a wide variety of transmog items and are a great place to get started with transmog farming in general. Good luck and happy farming!
