In this episode of WorthIt Logs, we will be exploring a gold farm in World of Warcraft called the Blood of the Mountain Gold Farm. To partake in this farm, players will need to have at least a max level character with maxed Classic Mining. Additionally, it's recommended to bring a Darkmoon Firewater potion and a Druid for their movement speed increase and Dreamwalk ability.

Located within the Molten Core Raid, which is accessed through the Blackrock Mountain portal, players will need to make their way through the raid instance and farm all of the Dark Iron Ore Nodes they find. These nodes not only provide Dark Iron Ore, but also the key item for this farm, Blood of the Mountain. Players should also slay any Molten Destroyers they encounter within the raid, as they have a chance to drop the Blood of the Mountain.

It's important not to slay any of the raid bosses while farming to ensure the farm remains active. Once players have completed their lap of the raid and obtained all the materials, they should make their way back to the entrance and reset the raid. This will allow players to repeat the process for up to 10 runs per hour. Dreamwalk can be used to speed up this process.

On average, players can expect to obtain 303 Dark Iron Ore and 3 Blood of the Mountain per run, although it may vary due to RNG.

In conclusion, the Blood of the Mountain Gold Farm is a great way for gold makers to expand the materials they can farm and sell on the Auction House. It requires a max level character with maxed Classic Mining and some extra tools like the Darkmoon Firewater potion and Druid's Dreamwalk ability. Players can expect an average of 303 Dark Iron Ore and 3 Blood of the Mountain per run.

Hey Dala, can you explain the importance of Darkmoon Firewater potion? Don't really understand why that would be a good item to have.

DalaGG

Darkmoon firewater potion gives you increased Gathering speed , skinning , herb and mining It is a universal good choice for gold farming as it can be used on those for any expansion and still gain the bonus from this

Thanks for the reply, even if it means I have to enter the Darkmoon Faire which I absolutely loathe with a burning passion. I wish the Burning Legion erased it from WoW xD
