I Love Raids,

They are truly an amazing way of making gold.

With Mog, Pets and Recipes,

This is one way I like to make gold in game,

So today we will be looking at, 10 Raid You Must Be Farming,

Let, Us, Begin.

[1] Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (Trash)

Starting off we have the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.

This raid is Great due to one main factor,

Transmog,

If you skip all of the bosses in the raid and gather up all of the trash mobs you have a chance of gaining some high value transmog items.

This has been a staple transmog farm as it has always provided a strong gold per hour in relation to mogs.

This along with the amount of time in takes to run said raid, which is roughly 25 to 30 minutes.

I am able to receive a large amount of high ticket mogs which I am able to sell on the auction house.

I would recommend this raid trash farm if you are looking to pad out your auction house in a relatively fast manor and as such is why I have placed it first on this list.

[2] Blackwing Lair ( Bosses )

Next up at number 2 we have the raid, Black Wing Lair,

This farm is best done on a Skinner as a lot of the mobs within said raid are skinnable providing, Black dragon Scales, Thick and Rugged Leather. Though, you are able to get additional Dragon Scale of Varying colours off of the boss Chormaguss as a side note.

The main reason I love this raid is also the chance to gain some rare old world recipes which can be a nice up tick for when doing this farm.

Along with that Nefarian has a 0.2% chance of dropping the Orb of Deception, this is perfect as a nice little bonus along with a reasonable amount of transmog that comes along with this raid.

[3] Serpentshrine Caverns (Pets)

Following onto this is the Serpentshrine Caverns,

This raid has a chance of dropping some decent Transmog but the main reason is to farm the battle pets from this raid.

These are, the Coilfang Stalker, Tainted Waveling and the Tideskipper

which can be farmed from Lady Vashj, Hydross the Unstable and Morogrim Tidewalker respectivly.

With these bosses in mind you are able to clear the raid in a relatively fast monor in which I park an alt there to do this raid on the weekly as the battle pets tend to sell fast at a reasonable gold per hour.

[4] Molten Core ( Trash )

The next Raid at number 4 is of course, the Molten Core.

I love this raid as I am able to run in and Farm Dark Iron Ore from the Deposits around the Raid along with slaying the Molten Destroyers for Blood of the Mountain.

The way I prefer farming this raid is to run and reset it 9 times and upon the 10 run I will do a full clear.

This is because Ragnaros also has a 0.2% chance of dropping the Orb of Deception which also can bolster the amount of gold value I have to sell on the auction house.

I also do the full clear not for gold farming but for the last binding I need for thunderfury as a side note.

[5] Sunwell (Trash)

Coming in at number 5, we have one of my go to gold farms for high ticket items.

Located on the Isle of Quel Danas the Sunwell Trash Farm is great!

For High gold value transmog and Recipes for the Burning Crusade.

This is one of the Raid I prefer doing due to it always being reliable for myself in making long term gold.

However, you are able to do a full clear for the battle pets from the bosses but in my opinion it is not worth my time and I prefer to farm only the trash mobs for these items.

[6] Temple of Ahn'Qiraj ( Bosses – Pets )

Though one raid which is at number 6, has some great battle pets for farming.

Within the zone of Silithus is the Raid, the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.

Here you will be farm specifically for two battle pets.

These are the  Anubisath Idol which comes from the Twin Emperors at a 20% Drop Chance and can be sold for some reliable gold due to it being used in a lot of pet battles.

Though this is Shadowed by the Viscidus Globule, which comes from the boss Viscidus,

At a  28% Drop Chance this battle pet is quite easy to get a hold of if and only if you are able to defeat the boss. Which require you to use Ice Damage to freeze the boss and shatter him.

My preferred way is to use the Enchant: Elemental Force which does the job quite nicely, in which I apply it to a low lvl sword and thus I am able to defeat said boss.

[7] Karazhan (Trash or Bosses)

Next up at number 7 we have an oldie but a goodie,

This is the Karazhan Raid farm.

This can either be farmed for just the trash drops which can provide some great Transmog and Really, Really high value recipes.

Or can be farmed for the battle pets which are the Fiendish Imp,  Lil'Bad Wolf, Menagerie Custodian, Netherspace Abyssal.

The One of note is the best for Rate of Sale and a reasonable gold value is the,  Lil'Bad Wolf as it is used for quite a few pet battle increasing the demand for this pet.

[8] Siege of Orgrimmar (Pets)

Following onto this and keeping abttle pets in mind is the Raid,

The Siege of Orgrimmar.

This is best farmed on normal mode or higher but is not required.

The pets of note are the Blackfuse Bombling, the  Droplet of Y'Shaarj and  Kovok.

All of these battle pets can go for some stupidly high amounts of gold but take note that the drop chances for these battle pets can differ and range from 0.7 to 1.1% Drop Chance,

So if you are feeling lucky, I would recommend giving this raid a go!

[9] The Bastion of Twilight (Trash / Bosses)

Coming in at number 9 and located within the Twilight Highlands,

Is the Raid the Bastion of Twilight,

Here, it is best done by first setting the raid on Heroic 25 to increase the amount of trash mobs,

Then consuming the item, the Potion of Treasure Finding, which will give you additional loots for Cataclysm based materials.

Then Run into the Raid and Clearing the first room of trash 9 times.

This will give you additional loot for these material and then doing the Full Clear for the battle Pets.

Though, there is only rarely one battle pet which I would take note of getting and that is the Twilight Clutch-Sister.

This is because it can be sold for some great gold and along with it being used is quite a fair amount of pet battle making the rate of sale higher than the rest of the pets from this raid.

[10] Firelands (Trash)

Lastly, and to finish off this list, I would be remissed if I did not talk about the Firelands Raid,

This raid can bring in some amazing gold,

this is because if you set it to 25 man heroic along with the potion of treasure Finding and making sure you have a Skinner.

You are able to maximise the amount of Cataclysm based materials you obtain, using the same method of 9 runs and resets and then finishing with a full clear.

However, if the materials are vastly better, I will for go a full clear and keep farming only the trash mobs so I am able to do this repeatedly every hour.

And as such this is why I have placed it on this list.
