Introduction:

Raids,

One of the main way to make gold,

Raid Farming can provide Great Returns for less time than conventional gold per hour farms and is a method I prefer to make gold on a weekly basis.

So today we will be looking at the, 10 Best Raid Pet Gold Farms,

Let Us Begin.

[1] Serpentshrine Cavern – Coilfang Stalker, Tainted Waveling, Tideskipper

Coming in at number one we have the Serpentshrine Caverns,

Coming from the Burning Crusade Expansion and located within the zone of Zangarmarsh,

This raid has some Great Things to take note of,

These are the Raid Based Battle Pets, Colifang Stalker from the Boss, Lady Vashj, at a 9% Drop chance.

The Tainted Waveling from, Hydross The Unstable at a 13% Drop Chance.

And The Tideskipper from Morogrim Tidewalker at 15% Drop Chance.

These battle pets can be sold for a reasonable amount of gold and along with all of the Transmog that comes from the Trash mobs make it a good farm for getting started.

[2] Heart of Fear – Kor'thik Swarmling, Amberglow Stinger, Spawn of Garalon, Living Amber, Ravenous Prideling

Moving into number 2 and in the Zone of the Dread Wastes,

We have the Raid, The Heart of Fear,

Within this Raid we have multiple battle pets to be farmed and this is the reason we farm this raid,

Battle Pets are,

The Kor'thik Swarmling from the Boss, Imperial Vizier Zor'lok at a drop chance of 3%

The Amberglow Stinger, from Blade Lord Ta'yak at 3% once again.

The Spawn of Garalon, from Garalon at a 4% Drop Chance.

Living Amber from the boss, Amber-Shaper Un'sok with a 5% Drop Chance,

and the Ravenous Prideling coming from the End Boss, Grand Empress Shek'zeer at a 4% Drop Chance.

I tend to run this raid once a week to keep a steady supply of these battle pets by using the Looking For Raid NPC in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms to make things Quicker.

[3] The Bastion of Twilight – Bound Stream, Faceless Minion, Twilight Clutch-Sister

Moving into the Cataclysm Expansion we have the raid, the Bastion of Twilight,

With this raid it is wise to use the Potion of Treasure Finding, this so you gain additional Cataclysm Materials from running this Raid Increasing your overall Gold Value.

I would suggest slaying the Trash mobs 9 times on Heroic 25, to gain as many additional Material then on your 10th time running the full raid to maximise your total gold value.

Battle Pets that come from this raid are,

The Bound Stream from the boss, Elementium Monstrosity at a 5% Drop Chance.

The Faceless Minion from Cho'Gall at again 5%

and the Twilight Clutch-Sister from the Bosses, Vliona and Theralion at 4%

The  Twilight Clutch-Sister is the keynote pet from this raid because it is used for a lot of Battle Pet Fights and sells faster as a result with a strong gold value for this.

[4] Trial of the Crusader – Dreadmaw, Nerubian Swarmer, Snobold Runt

As for number 4, we have a quick Raid Farm which is quite good and can be completed within 15 minutes for some reasonable gold.

The Drops and additional Loot can be vendored for Raw Gold and the Battle Pets that can be sold are,

The Dreadmaw, From the boss, Icehowl at a 17% Drop Chance

The Nerubian Swarmer, From Anub'arak at 11%

and the Snobold Runt, From Icehowl Once again for a 3% Drop Chance.

The Snobold runt from my experience sells the fastest and typically goes for good gold for the time invested into farming it.

[5] Temple of Ahn'Qiraj – Mini Mind Slayer, Anubisath Idol, Viscidus Globule

Moving into the Old World and into the Raidm the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj we have the chance to get High End Transmog from this raid along with some additional Battle Pets such as,

The Mini Mind Slayer From the first boss, Prophet Skeram at a 20% Drop Chance, which this pet sells for the least.

The Anubisath Idol on other hand is a great one as it is used in pet battle a lot, meaning it goes for a good gold value on average at a reasonable rate of sale.

This comes from the Twin Emperors at a 20% Drop Chance.

And lastly the, Viscidus Globule, which comes from the boss Viscidus,

Though, this does go for the most amount of gold, this boss can't be killed normally, you will need ice damage to freeze and shatter the boss, my prefer prefrence is the Enchant: Elemental Force which when equiped to lower lvl swords I can thus slay said boss.

The Viscidus Globule drops from this boss at a 28% Drop Chance so it is worth doing along with the high gold value, makes it a prize choice.

[6] Karazhan – Fiendish Imp, Lil'Bad Wolf, Menagerie Custodian, Netherspace Abyssal

Next up, at number 6 and in the zone of the Deadwind Pass,

Is the Raid, Karazhan,

This Raid provides the chance to get some really rare recipes and Transmog from this raid and I do this on the regular for those high ticket items.

Other items are of course the battle pets which are,

The Fiendish Imp from the Boss, Terestian Illhoof at a 12% Drop Chance

The Little Lil'Bad Wolf, which is a great pet for pet battles and selling, from The Big Bad Wolf and a 37% Drop Chance.

The Menagerie Custodian from the boss, The Curator at 11%

and The Netherspace Abyssal from the last boss of the Raid, Prince Malchezaar at an 11% Drop Chance.

[7] Icecrown Citadel – Drudge Ghoul ( Boneshard, Blood Boil, Blightbreath, Soulbroken Whelpling)

As For Number 7 we have the Raid, ICC or other wise known as Icecrown Citadel.

Though it is worth noting that this raid is best done on Normal Difficulty due to one battle pet.

This is the Drudge Ghoul which can be sold on the auction house a high gold value

and comes from the Lich King himself at a 1.4% Drop Chance.

Other Battle Pets from this Raid are,

The Boneshard from the Boss, Lord Marrowgar at a 9% Drop Chance.

Blood Boil from Deathbringer Saurfang at 17%

Blightbreath from Professor Putricide with an 8% Chance

and the Soulbroken Whelpling from the Boss, Sindragosa at a 8% Drop Chance.

[8] The Emerald Nightmare – Nightmare Whelpling

Following onto this at number 8 is the Raid The Emerald Nightmare,

There is only really one thing you are going in for and this is one battle pet, this is the,

Nightmare Whelpling which goes for a high amount of gold,

This comes from the boss, Ysondre at a 1% Drop Chance

[9] Throne of Thunder – Pygmy Direhorn, Living Sandling, Ji'Kun Hatchling, Living Fluid, Viscous Horror, Son of Animus

Next up at number 9 and located in the Isle of Thunder is the Raid,

Throne of Thunder, Here you have a chance to get some really nice Zandalari Transmogs along with some personal Mounts for yourself and also, Of Course, Battle Pets,

The Pygmy Direhorn comes from the boss, Horridon at a 1.4% Drop Chance

The Living Sandling from, the Sand Elemental, at 2%

The Ji'Kun Hatchling, From Ji'Kun at 2%

Living Fluid From the boss, Primordius with an undefined Drop Chance of LFR Mode

The Viscous Horror from Primordius Again but on Normal and Heroic at 4%

and the Son of Animus from the boss, Dark Animus at a 4% Drop Chance.

[10] Siege of Orgrimmar – Gooey Sha-Ling, Droplet of Y'Shaarj

Last and finally to round off our list is my go to gold farm for raid farming which I do every week without fail,

This is, the Siege of Orgrimmar,

Here you are going just for the Battle Pets,

The Blackfuse Bombling From the Boss, Siegecrafter Blackfuse at a 0.8% Drop Chance

The Gooey Sha-Ling from the Sha of Pride on the LFR Difficulty at a 0.7% Drop Chance

The Droplet of Y'Shaarj from the Boss Sha of Pride once again, but on Normal, Heroic or Mythic at a 1.2% Drop Chance.

And Lastly the Pet, Kovok, from the Paragon Boss Fight at a 1.1% Drop Chance.

All of these battle pets go for stupid amounts of gold and thus this is why I farm this every week.
