This week we will be going over my Gold Making routine excluding any mats farming and just my basic structure on how I plan on going about making gold for the following year. Note: farming is not added because it is implied that i'll be doing that along side it :)

1. Crafted Mounts

Now as it comes towards crafted mounts I plan on building myself back into this market, as this market has always been a good place to store gold and also gives steady returns ranging from 8 – 20k profit depending on the market and mount in question. This is my go to as they are repetitively fasting items and are one of the safest methods I have found to make gold and place my gold into with out the market fluxing too much. This usually takes around 10 mins to do a restock on these.

2. Tome Of Lost Legion

Now This one is a Warlock Specific farm this is located on the Isle of Thunder and I have mentioned this before but the reason I am adding this into my gold making rotation is because this takes less than 7 mins to do one lap of the island for killing the rares whom have a chance of dropping the Tome which can be sold for around 15k – 40k ( Depending on server ) I prefer this farm as the Upside against the time invested is definitely worth it in my books. However I did give this ago doing it regularly a few months ago and was impressed by doing one lap per day could achieve so I shall be adding this into the rotation for those reasons.

3. Pit Of Saron

This one is an Oldy but a Goodie , this farm is for the “Battered Hilt” , now I know a lot of people are put off with the idea of farming this item due to the drop chance for doing this. Myself on the other hand, not so much, this is because this item is repetitively easy to farm up just so long as you make a habit of running the trash for the dungeon each day which will take you around 20mins per day. In those 10 lockouts I have a chance of gaining the battered hilt which can be sold for really strong amount as the value comes from the difficulty of farming this up. The trick with this farm and most farms is to keep repeating the farm each and every day and you will start to see a return for your efforts.

4. Crafting Professions

This goes at no surprise that crafting professions are incredibly lucrative just so long as to put safe guards in place for posting items at just over the crafting cost you should make gold on them. At this point I will be heavily focusing on Inscription, Alchemy, Cooking and Enchanting as my main gold making Professions as these are proving to be the best for gold returns so far and I would suggest doing the same. A Standard Restock will take around 15 mins.

5. Garn Nighthowl

Now this is a weird one and one you do not need to farm up but I prefer to do this anyway as this always works well for myself in the realm of gold making and that is the “Garn Nighthowl” Mount. This can be farmed Frostfire Ridge by Nok'Karosh which is a 100% mount drop through the NPC mob spawns every 16 – 20 mins it is something just log once or twice a day just to gain this mount for a quick 400 – 1k Gold. This take around 2 minutes to farm this mount and with those times it is hard for me not to farm this mount up.

Conclusion

So In Conclusion the Basic Gold rotation excluding Mat Farming will take me around 54 minutes and the gold potential is uncapped on how much I can now make for that time invested. My goal is to maximise the amount of gold I am able to accrue in an hours worth of work and making that potential uncapped on its gold making potential. This is even if I can't get a farm in on a certain day I can at least make a strong gold by repeating these processes each and every day.
