We are going to be going over things you are most likely going to see happening in gold making in the start of shadowlands but also going over mount production.

1. Accursed Memento – Last Chance and Price Drops

As the release is coming this week ( Tuesday, EU ) and this is probably the last chance you will get before shadowlands to buyout or farm Accursed Memento. This will most likely go up in price as these are only obtainable through the pre-patch and once it is over you will no long be able to obtain these, so if you are wanting to buy them or farm them today is the day to do so.

2. Crafted Mounts Review

Now over the last week or so I have been working on mount production and in order to find the best performing ones for the most little effort we can cut off the lesser good ones and only focus on strong profit returns. Throughout my testing the only real mounts that are meeting this criteria is the Mekgineer's Chopper and Vial of The Sands. These are not only super easy to craft and keep production up these can also be reduced in cost to save you more gold and thus make more profit with an Alchemist.

3. Transmute / Elixir Master

After the last few weeks I have been playing around with the proc rates of the Alchemist master traits these are super helping in flipping for more gold ( procing more mats to make a profit ) but also I have come to a proc rate you might find useful. Now surfing online people were talking anywhere from 20% - 15% well, this seems to be the case in some instances but with my finding after crafting is around 15% this is something we can factor into our crafting for these mats by adding the line:

dbmarket*1.15

This will add the proc chance onto the value of the items that you are procing such like Living Steel for Example. We can go into our reports and change the value that way and add that line into the value for that item bringing the crafting cost up.

4. Buff Food

I would highly suggest crafting a lot of buff food for the Auction House this week as a lot of people will be buying these to boost there stats in the new expac and if you are able to do this now you can keep these on the auction house while you are levelling so you can make some steady gold while you are levelling your main character up through Shadowlands I find this a good way to make some sizeable gold while doing the first run through and I usually stop around a week after the expac has dropped because most people will start moving on the latest expacs content foods.

5. New Expac Gold

With every Expac you have a chance to make some insane gold, this is nothing new. The things people will be looking for the first couple of weeks will be the latest Pots / Flasks so Alchemy will be something to double down on. Along with this Cooking will be required as people will be trying to get those additional buffs for themselves. Not only crafting professions but the new mats will be in high demand the most profitable will most likely Herbs, Ore and Fish this usually hold there own for a couple of weeks at a strong gold per hour and only drop off into the following month.
