CMV + October Rewards Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone

You've probably noticed I haven't posted this month!

That's because many exciting things are all crushing my shoulders beneath their weight just now.

I have a really tight, everyone-will-yell-at-me-and-not-the-firm-taskmaster-kind-the-super-mad-kind deadline next week, I mad the DAMN FOOL MISTAKE of trying to carve a pumpkin for my kid and obviously my carpal tunnel was like YOU RANG? I'm fighting off the latest variant of yersinia kindergartnis, my house is full of construction materials and the contractors decided they don't want to do the job anymore, there was a fucking mass shooting the next town over, kid's been out of school, it's a holiday I allegedly love but am actually just so stressed about today...it's all just a lot and if I mean to get this book in next week somehow, I have to concentrate on it and nothing else.

Almost all the October rewards will still go up today! But the big essay will have to wait until I turn my book in, I just can't squeeze 5k words in between all the other thousands, I'm so sorry, I feel terribly guilty.

Please be patient with me, I am a bear of very little left to give and I'm doing my absolute best. It'll just be a small delay on the essay, and in lieu of that, I'll post the locked Substack essay from earlier this month so everyone gets their money's worth.
