Wow, you guys had so many suggestions as to what I might soundly mock upon the Twitters that there wasn't enough room for all of them on Patreon's poll-generator! Thank you so much for all that sweet, sweet participation. The Lab cannot do its gravitationally groovy thing without volunteers!

Note: you can vote for as many things as you want, no limits.

However, I had to leave some of your candidates off the ballot because of the limit on the number of poll options you can post. Sadly, one of those was Willow, which a few of you said you wanted. I know I said democracy, but it is a mad laboratory, which means unpredictable results, and choices had to be made. I will explain. It's the same reason I left off Farscape.

You don't really want me to live-tweet Willow or Farscape. You think you do, but you don't.

You see, I love Willow and Farscape. Like, it's a very serious relationship we're in. Farscape is quite literally my favorite science fiction TV show of all time, and Willow is right up there with my favorite movies. The fun of live-tweeting is in mocking and throwing popcorn and picking apart--and I can't do that to my space-boo or my 80s fantasy-boo. Or at least, if I did, it wouldn't be funny. It would just be me going OMG YOU GUYS I LOVE THIS PART LET'S ALL BE QUIET AND JUST LET IT WASH OVER US AHHHH.

That's no fun.

Especially since I've spent a really embarrassing number of hours defending my darlings to people who just don't get why they are the obvious best. It would be like MST3K asking me on to do Labyrinth. Nobody wants to hear me gush and trivia-vomit and shout down any/all criticism for two hours because oh my god Bowie/Henson/did you know Beverly Crusher did the dance choreography/my feels/childhood. It's just awkward for everyone. Real Genius is a borderline case, but I think I can put my love for that one aside in a way I just can't for my bffs Madmartigan and Aeryn Sun.

Live-tweeting (Lab Reports? Electronic Froggo Dissections? Snarklectric Feedback Loops?) is at it's best when irreverant and unmerciful. It's easy when it's something either truly crap or at least good with bad/baffling/stupid/ill-advised bits mixed in.

I also left off a couple of the games, only because there's not necessarily a lot that happens in the first two or three hours of them and I want this to be as entertaining for you as possible. I'll slot them back into next month's poll if people really want them, though.

If one of the TV shows wins, we'll do a second poll to decide which episodes will end up on the slab.

For the record, of the choices, I have seen or played:

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Excalibur

Real Genius

Red Sonja

She Ra: Princess of Power

Yes, you read that right, I have not seen Sharknado

Do your worst.

Once the test subject has been determined, I'll choose a date, most likely next Saturday or Sunday so people can mosre easily watch along in real time if they want to. I'll also definitely Storify the whole thing for those who missed it and the permanenet record.

Leave any questions/requests/angry pitchforks/rude gestures in the comments! I can't wait!

Even if it doesn't win, I hope you will see Krull sometime. At least for Liam Neeson.
