New Stretch Goal! (Patreon)

If we somehow manage to hit this crazy goal, every month, I will live-tweet a movie, 2-3 episodes of a TV show, or two hours of a video game chosen by my patrons! 

We'll have suggestions and then a poll every month, and the top vote-getter gets roasted. Or squee'd over embarrassingly, depending. I SWEAR I R FUNNY PROMISE.

I'll also squeeze some discussion of structure and technique in there between jokes. YOU CAN LEARN FROM EVEN THE WORST. You can learn from narrative wherever it turns up (if you say video games don't count I'll fight you) and no matter how egregiously terrible it is. I love standup comedy more than just about anything, and it is often a trash-fire of cringe. But I ALWAYS learn from just exactly how the trash-fire gets started and keeps going until the place burns to the ground. Good art elevates; bad art instructs. And also provides delicious schadenfreude giggles.

We can arrange a time for simul-watching or you can just follow along online, but either way, you've have a monthly date with a screen and a much younger, less-felty, but equally-jowly version of Statler and Waldorf.
