I want to share some thoughts with Catherynne Valente I've been saving for this: - Thank you so much for introducing me to Ted Lasso! I'm totally in love with the show and we didn't have Apple, so may not have given it a chance without your essay on the show :) - I heard it will only be 3 seasons, which is a bit of a bummer, but at least we're pretty sure we're getting 3 :) - Over Christmas, we did book gifts for all our nieces and nephews. I sent Henry a copy of The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland and it is his favorite book! (I took a pic of this on facebook, but I can't add pics here...)

Hi! I'm feeling okay except the part where it's summer-hot in Michigan and in addition to a high schooler and middle schooler and kid I'm trying to kick towards some kind of post-high school education or other, I thought it would be a grand idea to take a 16 credit first semester back to my own post-high school education. So, yay for swim team and band camp and volleyball and all that stuff and also trying to get done homework for four classes and finish the semester with a minimum of B in everything. Whee! The most "fun" part of this semester is getting in arguments with my English teacher about inclusive pronouns and how the MLA style guide is a couple years behind the APA. But no, legit, I like all my classes - even the dreaded math one. I hope everyone else is well, also!
