Thoughts on "The Hangout?" (Patreon)

Chapter 4 of Radiant saw the introduction of a new gameplay element which, for lack of a better term, I've been referring to as "The Hangout."

Aka, the moment where players are prompted to "spend some time with the girls and continue when finished." When working on this... the idea I had in mind was giving players the opportunity to feel, if even just for a few good minutes, that they're genuinely there in the world: relaxing and spending time with the triplets by the lake.

I wanted this to be as immersive as possible and really convey what a day in the sun with our three freckled cuties would feel like... hence the inclusion of one-time events, a montage for each activity, and more than a couple dozen renders for each.

I think it goes without saying but I worked very hard on this scene... and I'm very curious to know what players thought of it, for better or worse. So then...

What is your opinion of "The Hangout," and would you like to see more of this type of "gameplay" in the future?
