I'm really glad they added that scene of Aki smoking Himeno's last cigarette. If I remember correctly, this is the last cigarette he ever smokes in the manga, keeping his first promise to her that the cigarette that she gave him would be his very last. Also, I don't quite agree with Kelvin that Chainsaw Man doesn't have a good story because it's just about a dude liking boobs. Because he didn't care about touching them, he just thought that he would. Denji didn't have anything, and the story is about him pursuing what he thinks he wants, but actually regaining his humanity in the process. It is not a horny story, but one about people finding things and people to care for. Again, that is why he was so disappointed after achieving his "goal" of catching a feel.

I agree with you personally I see that about the story but I think it's also a lot about what will be remembered after the 12 eps for him. I think once season 2 is out that message about finding a real goal will be more clear and used as the "real" story of Chainsaw Man, but with these first 12 eps being heavily prologue the message doesn't necessarily stick yet
