Alright, we’re past my least favorite! (6x06) Lana was kind of a bitch for it and archer was acting like a bitch. He’s been in way worse… taken out multiple people who’ve had guns. But even when his daughter is in danger he doesn’t really do anything.

I definitely agree with Lana being a total pos for doing that. Archer on the other hand couldn't really do anything without risking the life of AJ. As far as Archer was concerned (before he learned the truth), Farooq was a real enemy with full intention of "shoot to kill". Archer obviously could handle himself easily in the situation, but he couldn't do what he normally does with AJ literally in Farooq's arms with a loaded gun in the other hand. He was playing it safe (which is out of character for him but when you're literal blood-related child is in the enemies arms, you can't really risk anything). He even says it himself "As far as field operations go, she's a HUGE liability!" Which tells you everything you need to know. He WANTS to do something but when your only child is being held against you, you can't risk anything.

The word "TOUCHABLE" scrawled on the wall of the elevator at the end is from the 1987 movie "The Untouchables" starring Kevin Costner and Sean Connery.
