Classic movie. As a programmer I get so many of the gags and situations. I have seen it many times and it is always funny. I have always felt that the printer scene is a parody of the beat down in Menace 2 Society.

This movie has a bit of a special place in my heart because my first actual, full time job (IT in the Navy in 2000) was in a similar type of office environment. The computers taking their sweet time to save when you're trying to leave the office, the printers that definitely would give you issues throughout the day instead of just printing and holy crap the numerous bosses that felt the need to hound you over the most mundane details that they actually don't deal with a whole heck of a lot was spot on (perhaps moreso because even on a shore station that was several degrees of separation away from being involved in any actual military operations the amount of self importance in people with any amount of power was through the roof). At the end of every week my co-workers and I would pre-game by watching this and having a few beers before we'd get up to real drunken sailor shit for the weekend. I'm really glad to see this movie won in the poll and that you enjoyed it. :)

One of my favorite movies. The writer and director of this movie, Mike Judge, played the restaurant boss that was talking about wearing more flair. Another movie you might like from the same creator is "Idiocracy" (2006). Judge also created "Beavis and Butt-head", "King of the Hill" and was a co-creator of "Silicon Valley".
