Hey everyone!

Wanted to do another update on how everything is going.

A couple of days back I did a test run on the changes I’ve added to the game, sadly it turns out that Unity has its own type of image file after building which means most of the work I did on the png to jpg conversion was in vain. The good news is, after researching my problem more, I have come up with another way to lower the game's size as planned without harming the quality. It is a bit more tedious than previously planned, but I believe that it will be detrimental and very worth it for the future of the game.

Other than that, I have been mostly drawing the CG’s required for the upcoming routes. I believe they are turning out awesome and I can’t wait for you guys to play through them. I still don’t have a set release date I can give, but I’ll try to make another update when I’m closer to finishing. I want to thank you all for your patience and support. Not sure if I missed a technical reason for reducing file sizes and I might be alone here, but I'm fine with bigger file sizes If it means we'll actually get an update.

Quick question do you ever plan on adding in any sounds to the game? Playing through a game with no sounds is a little weird lol.

You should switch to charging people per update instead of monthly. It seems to make more sense now that the game updates aren't monthly as they once were. At this point I've been subscribed for over 2 years, so I've paid at least $120 for a porn game on my phone. That seems a bit rediculous lol.

You are paying to support the creator and their projects. You have always been able to play the game for free with that version being an update behind.

man you have been delaying the game forever. first tricia, now the real patch, it has been 3 months and we got nothing, literally nothing. people are trying to support you here because we love your project, and some of us not gaining their money even in dollars. other then delaying the game for 3 months you dont share enough information updates on the situation either. if you have updated the situation more regularly, some people could have switch the payment for 1 dollars or skip the month, most of the people here are waiting update in the end of february. as i said before, some of your supporters are not gaining their money in dollars, and still trying to support you.

Problem is with the MAC build. There's a issue decompressing files over 4gb in size. There's also issues when it comes to android in that space on a phone is very limited so the smaller you can get the game the better. PC players have it easy in that the only downside to a large size is we only have a little extra time to download.

You are not. Content creation is continuing as per normal. The image change to make the game's total size smaller didn't work but it sounds like he found another way to shrink the size down without effecting image quality. Remember Mac players are kind of fucked right now till this gets done.

I've kinda gotten used to that when playing h-games. Keep in mind all the things a dev has to juggle. Art, scripting, coding (not the same thing), writing, community management. Adding sound design to that wouldn't just be adding some sounds but learning how to do it and finding/creating the sfx's as well.

I thought he was very transparent on what's been happening with this update. When 3.4 released he said he was having issues getting the tricia event to work without crashing the game and would have it out a month later. A month later he updated us saying the issues with the event was related to a coding problem within Unity and after contacting them he was told the bug should be fixed in their next update so he decided on holding the Tricia until he could get it working hopefully in 3.5. He would also be expanding the event because he felt the event could be improved. The next to posts were a poll on who in addition to Trish and Summer should get content in 3.5 as well as updating MAC users on his efforts to resolve a long standing issue with the MAC build. Namely getting the file sizes down under 4GB. Personally I dropped my sub to $1 when he started talking about issues with the code. The dev not being a programmer told me this could take awhile to figure out on top of creating all the art and animations for 3.5s release. Compared to other h-game devs ferdafs has been communicating very well and outside of this release has been pretty solid on his releases so far. The amount of content in each release is above what I expected (animations take a ton of time) so I remain quite pleased with how he's been doing. That said you might consider setting your sub to $1 till the update is out if you're bothered by recent events.

Is there a backlog or something of errors in your source code that we could help out with or something. Never really did game dev but have helped out my friends who are devs learn how to program as I've been a software engineer for a few years. I'm not looking for payment but just something you can throw issues into that can be worked on so you could do more important things. Things like fixing a build or figuring out errors are things I'm fairly confident I'd be able to help with

If there is no release date withing the next couple of days, I will no longer extend my patreon membership. We patreons have been left in the dark and haven't gotten anything in multiple months of supporting you. I have been a patreon for a long time (since august 2020), never complained about anything and never left a comment untill now, but this has gone a bit to far in my opinion.
