Hey guys!

If you haven't noticed yet, I made a couple of updates on the Inner Circle forums.

The first is regarding the V0.045 release, which you can find on Google Drive.  Please see the Inner Circle forum post for details about the release.

The second post I made is with regard to the transition to the monthly campaign model (check out this post if you haven't heard about that yet).  This affects patrons at the $45, $70, and $80 tiers significantly, including new patrons at those tiers whose pledges have not yet processed, so I'm going to repeat the most important bit about that there so they can see it.

Basically, for the transition to the monthly campaign model to happen, there must be a single, shorter cycle for Inner Circle access membership.  This means that patrons pledging at the $45, $70, and $80 tiers for this upcoming release will not get as big a bang for their buck as they have previously.

Since you are our biggest supporters we certainly don't want any of you to feel shortchanged by this.  I by all means would understand if you want to simply lower your pledge for this upcoming cycle, however to try to make up for this discrepancy we'll be adding an additional reward to the above mentioned tiers for when pledges are next processed.

For this upcoming cycle (when pledges are processed next):

  • $45 patrons will be eligible to receive an artwork print of their choice.
  • $70 and $80 patrons (who already receive an artwork print) will receive an early cut of the first chapter of the Malise and the Machine digital soundtrack.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer them!

Thanks!

If we are donating at the $45 level or higher and bump down to a lower tier, will we still retain our inner circle access?

We will likely transition to using the Patreon feed for Inner Circle posts once the monthly model begins (ideally one month after the next release), at which point people can gain access for the lower monthly price. Keep in mind that the transition to the monthly model is entirely dependent on whether Patreon makes good on its intent to roll out the instant charge feature to all creators. As long as we don't hear otherwise, I don't see any harm in allowing current IC patrons to continue to access the forums during that month even if they lower their pledge for this coming release.
