Hey again guys,

This part of the IC update will focus on new animation and character work that TK, TMX, and Limbo have done over the past few weeks!  


TK's Onyx Rig Improvement Video

TK helped a lot with the world map last month, so I distracted him quite a bit from his rigging work.  He did however redesign all of Onyx's joints and bends using a technique called slide joints, which you can check out in the video above.  This technique enables her joints to slide as they bend, thus preserving volume more realistically (as opposed to crumpling like an empty tube).  To improve them further, he added a layer of corrective morphs.  Check out the video above for the results :D.  


Mr. Kittyhawk's H System Progress  

I already mentioned a few days back that Mr. Kittyhawk got the H system to me, but I wanted to show some evidence of the light at the end of the tunnel :D.  I've yet to dig into it, but getting it ready for the next release is our main priority this week.  Barring any critical bugs that may pop up and slow things down, a release next week is looking very possible. 


TMX's Low Poly Splicer Looter + Animations   

TMX has finished the low poly model / UVing / rig for the Splicer Looter, and has gotten started on some of his basic animations.  So far he has a walk cycle, run cycle, and a "panic" animation for when he's fleeing from Onyx in terror :D.  


New Biomonster Design from Limbo Limbo! 

Last but not least we have a new enemy design from Limbo -- this time a humanoid biomonster :D.  The original idea was for this guy to be a more original / stylized design of the Corruptor from MATM, but I think he evolved into something more menacing than that -- maybe even boss potential.  Let us know what you think!

Onyx Joint Revamp! - January 2020

This video shows TK's revamp of Onyx's joints using a technique called slide joints (effectively joints that slide as they bend, thus preserving volume), combined with a layer corrective blendshapes.

New Patron here, I love this dive behind scenes, That H struggle animation really has the right intensity too it ; ) Are there any new H mechanics or additions planned for the next demo/update?

Is it just me, or is the biomonster's D in the first pic just like hanging from his lowest ab muscles? Doesn't look like there's any 'body' to connect his torso to his crotch / D area. Sorry don't mean to sound like an ass, just pointing out what I think I saw, incase you missed it..

Hi, is this week supposed to have a demo of the game? or am I imagining it?

It was said to be expected in early February but we're past that point. Though that's somewhat par for the course.

To be expected from their end, yes, not "supposed to". Instead out repeating this ignorant complaint on half the posts, you could also join Discord to see the problems they're running into and the daily progress they're churning out.
