Alright, so. Starting this upcoming Sunday, I'll be doing an experiment with Weekly Goals. Essentially, I've estimated how much time any specific task takes (art wise, for now) and I've estimated how much time in a week I can spend on this stuff. With those in mind, I've made a goal using the Update Order poll I took earlier, giving me a list of things I plan to get done in the week and an order in which to do them.

The list is currently:

  • Ramses's outfits
  • Ben in his entirety
  • Biyu in her entirety
  • Paul Smores lines
  • Herb, Matt sketches at the gloryhole, cropping and base lines
  • MC's ID mini-CG

For all I know, this'll likely be either over-ambitious or under-ambitious. For that reason, I will be timing how long it takes me to do these specific tasks individually, and I can then use those numbers to get a better feel for how much I should do as weekly goals in the future. I'll be sure to make a status update with the start of the next week to let y'all know how things are going!

Next: Jorge

Jorge's finally been completed in his entirety! Please look forward to seeing what the rest of his expressions and outfits n such look like c:

Also, as the weekly goal implies: both Ramses's base and his expressions are already done. Here's a sneak peek at his swimsuit :3c

Something I won't be releasing the update without, by the way, is a long-awaited feature that I really probably should have figured out way earlier-

The ability to look at a sprite in full! Or, at least from the ankle up. I don't really want those blob-like feet to be on the screen and I don't really want to learn how to draw feet right now.

I have a pretty decent idea how to make it work, but it'll take some more research on how to actually execute it in-game. Ideally, you'll see a sprite (say... this one)

And there'll be some button at the top of the screen you can click. If you do, then...

You'll be shown an image like this, but shrunk down so that it actually fits within the window!

(Ignore the lil fuzzies sticking out of his pants there, those shouldn't be there on the finished version of this outfit :v)

I like drawin the bulges, so a feature like this will make it easy to see those bulges (and anything else that needs to be seen below-the-belt, like Barry's prosthetic leg).

Anyhow, I hope that's a nice quality-of-life thing to look forward to! Thanks for reading, and see you all once I've collected The Data on this weekly thing I'm doing.
