Hi. The light sticks are called army bombs and you can actually get one at the concert. They have a separate line for it. I don’t have mine either and am going to get one when they come here in may. ☺️ I’ve tried to finde places where they sell them and they are either sold out or I’m just scared they might be fake. Also, just know that when you get one and your at the concert download the app as well and put in your seating info so it will synchronize with the music. 💜

Nadia

All of the songs that are played are BTS songs and they don’t go on their phones a lot tbf but they still on their phones sometimes,

Heather

I hope you like Run BTS haha it’s extremely fun and hilarious! They’re all at least a little competitive so a whole show about them doing challenges and competitions is 👌🏽 You definitely will get to see some tension next episode of Burn the Stage too😬

Jutta Herrmann

Hi DT, first off Jungkook was underage for drinking, by Korean Law and second they get schooling in their Trainee years, some companies have Teachers or they still attend school or university, as fa as I learned.

Jutta Herrmann

And a big Hello to all of the DT's followers

Hi! I'm new! I think the experience of training so young really varies from person to person. JK joined when he was 13-14 (international age) and moved into the dorms. To me, that seems really young to essentially move away from home and start working. I think that's why he's so grateful to the other members, because they really took over the job of parenting him. Suga has said that he felt like JK's father, because he was the one who used to sign all his permission forms and pick him up from school. And Jin used to cook him breakfast and drive him to school every day... and Jin also once brought him home to Jin's family's house when JK couldn't make it back to Busan for Christmas on year. They all really did adopt him as a family member completely, they didn't just treat him like a work colleague. I can imagine that other young trainees might not be so lucky to be placed with such a compassionate group. When you get into Run or if you ever watch the Bon Voyage series, you'll see just how much they legitimately treat each other like blood brothers. I think they also talk about it briefly in the next episode, when you see a little bit of "drama" and how they resolve it.

Tina Aikaa

Yes! I love burn the stage. Cant wait for you to see the episode 4. It is interesting one also!

-Mac-

Epiphany is sung by Jin. It's beautiful & self-affirming. ARMY Bombs should be available at the concert. "I'm gonna be chill" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 *cough* If you say so. J-Hope did eventually release that mix-tape. It's called "Hope World" IMHO, it is hard to go through the trainee program and then debut at such a young age. JK, completed HS and went right to the business. I'd say that for him, (looking from the outside), the biggest negative impact is his sense of confidence. He thinks that he's not learning enough (book study). The members had to remind him that there are more ways to learn about the world than books. (Festa 2019) At the time of filming this, the youngest person present (Taehyung - V) would have been 22 years old; legal to drink in the states. More importantly, however, having deep conversations while drinking alcohol with folks appears to be a cultural norm in Korea. Go ahead, watch ep 4... you know you wanna. ;)

Anonymous

Of course, just like any millennial, they use their phones a lot. RM and Jimin love twitter while JK and V post on Weverse alot (additionally, Jin, JK, Jimin, and Jhope love computer gaming). The difference is that they perfectly embody Korean cultural values of work hard, play hard - they work extremely hard for things they have to do or to develop themselves professionally (as you can tell it relates to pride in their work and themselves) but when they don't need to work hard, they play around freely like children.

Fai

Trust me, they're all on their phones a lot like any young people these days lol There's plenty of footage of it and they all say Namjoon spends the most time on his phone, and in this very episode Jimin himself said he once spent like pretty much all day on the couch on his phone lol But yes, they know when to prioritize their time, they play when it's time to play and they work when it's time to work and make the most of their time. They are all very dedicated people. And about the trainee system, yes, it's hard on people. You don't get to live a normal life as a young person. And depending on what company you belong to, it can be a real hellscape of overworking and abuse. There have been many scandals and news stories about the terrible working conditions at some of these entertainment companies. Thankfully, BigHit is a good company and cares about the boy’s well-being and treats them with respect, but it was still hard. They used to practice for like twelve+ hours a day when they were trainees and after they debuted when they were rookies. Practice includes dance practice, vocal lessons, language lessons and lessons on how to deal with media etc...so it’s not an easy life to choose.

I was waiting for this!!! I'm really enjoying you reacting to this series. Can't wait for the next episode 💜💜💜💜

Hello I'm a new patreon, and I'm really excited for the next episode

Anonymous

I know that you "think" you are going to be chill but you won't lol. There is no way for anyone that loves the boys to be chill. We all collectively loose our minds lol but in a good way. I truly hope that you will enjoy your first BTS concert. I promise you there is nothing like it. Being there with fellow Army that love and support the guys just as much as you do, the love and support we have for each other even if we don't know each other personally is something truly amazing. Can't wait to see your vlog on your experience. I am sure that it will be interesting 💜💜💜

Charmaine Flynn

Jungkook actually did finish high school. Jin received his Bachelor's degree around the same time they were on this tour. All the other guys were enrolled in an online college at some point. There's been no update on those in the past year or so though. By the way, I'm new here. Hello.

bmystee

To answer your question about the trainee system, I think there's pros and cons, like you said. Ppl are more impressionable when they're young and if they debut they have a longer career ahead of them bc they'd still be young when they debut. But you also have to think all those trainees that didn't make it or decided to drop out. From what I understand it can be pretty isolating and of course super competitive. I remember back when JK was still in high school while being in BTS, he kept saying it was hard for him to make friends or that he didn't have any friends at school. Granted he didn't go very often but he also mentioned before that he'd never experienced having friends around the same age at the beginning and didn't know what being a normal teenager was like. He still says that now, always asking ARMY what we do in our 20s bc he wants to imagine what that would be like.

Yasmine SB

Hi, from Paris .. indeed, JHope dropped his mixtape after that .. I think it is the one that has had the most success globally, it must be said that It's dope (specially "Daydream", "Baseline", "Hansang", "Airplane" and the outro "Blueside").. Seen from the outside as it is a boys group, often it is the girls who are interested in it first hence the large number in the concerts but subsequently they succeed in capturing the interest and respect for boys too .. I think on their next round there will be many more men.. And to answer your question, all the songs we hear in the background are from BTS, the last one is "2nd grade"

KIKI

Well you don’t need to be young to be a trainee. The reason theyre A lot of young trainees is bc they want to be an artist at a young age.In korea it’s just common, if your good at singing or dance or acting you can try out to be an idol.If I was in korea and I new how to sing or dance i would become a trainee at a young age. There are disadvantages ofcourse bc once your a trainee you basically have to sing or dance for hours weather your young or a young adult. Its also better if you become a trainee at a young age bc you never know how long you will be a trainee for. Some Ppl are trainees for 1 year and some are more then 5 years. So if you become a trainee at a young age you might have a better chance of becoming an idol at a young age like 18 or something..Thats an advantage, they get to do what they love at an early age and get to get better at it and also might get the chance in a few years to become idols. There are of course other disadvantages but I just wanted to explain the Kpop system a little more. A lot of company’s are strict but thankfully Bighit was a little more nicer and let the boys do more things and be more “free”.For example sense the beginning bts has written there songs and not a lot of company’s let there idols write there own music. But Bighit Trusted bts sense the beginning and let them write about there struggles.Theres even a song that Bts released about when they first debuted talking about the struggles about being a trainee. And the fact that they wrote it into a song and that Bighit let them express there feelings so early is a good thing.Thats just a dumb little example I wanted to say hope you u defer and more💜💜

Yey Brazil here! 🇧🇷 I think you would like Bon Voyage also, there are four seasons. Traveling with them. It’s one of my favorite shows.

Chael

If you do react to Epiphany by Jin, I would suggest the lyric video bc the music video put out by big hit is just an intro and isn’t the whole song. Though of course the MV is beautiful as always

Mama Shells

Loved how you queried the cuddly toy that Jin was holding - as you get to know the boys more you'll see that Jin almost always takes his 'RJ' with him when he travels. A lot of times it's a comfort thing or in V's case, he sleeps better when he has something to cuddle/hug. In my country it would be almost unheard of to see young men of their age cuddling soft toys, but it's quite common for male kpop idols & not 'weird' at all. I love that about them. A trainee's life is hard work - continually training/practicing/developing foundation skills/learning new skills, languages/for those who are younger they still have to complete their schooling - it's a gruelling system that really puts them through their paces. Big Hit Entertainment though as an agency is not like 'any' of the other agencies when it comes to how they 'care' for & about their trainees and that's because Bang PD is like no other CEO. I hope you get to learn more of Bang PD's philosophy...

Anonymous

Haha… u should check their song Could You Turn off Your Cell Phone😁 They use it a lot, but they know pretty well when to use it👌🏼 One of the negatives aspects about becoming idol at such young age is that they can acquire cocky behavior due to fame, but Jk has stayed very humble, all of them, so humble it almost seems unreal🥺 I want u to react to so many things☹️ I want u to react to the Bon Voyage seasons… I want u to react to American Hustle Life… I want u to react to Run BTS… I want u to react to the BU… & it just goes on & on😩 I better leave the chat, Welcome to all the new ones!👋🏼💜

paulatrie

yay run bts!!

Laura Moore

This episode and episode 7 are my favorites

Laura Moore

Is it weird I just thought your laundry was my laundry 😂... Wouldn’t have even noticed if you hadn’t said something

Cindy Mora Diaz

Love your reactions, its like if I whatch the show with a friend💜

Laura Moore

Btw the reason Jungkook wasn’t with them at the diner table was because he was still 20 and under the legal drinking age of the country they were in. Even though he could drink with them since 18 in Korea as per their laws they had to be respecteful (at least on camera hehe 😜) of the laws of where they were at

eynz

This is just my personal opinion, definitely there's a disadvantage in getting into entertainment industry at very young age, esp in KPop since they have to focus in training, away from families and friends, they have to rely on their agency, co-trainees, trainors. It is a big battle out there, battle of skills/talent, battle of minds, battle of emotional & psychological aspects and more. That's why agency plays a big role here, if they dont have proper assistance & help, if there's an imbalance in the training process and ended up not being able to debut, I guess all of us now how frustrating, devastating & depressing it is, after spending all their lives being a trainee (thousands of them out there). The reason why I have a big respect with Mr Bang ShiHyuk and the whole BigHit family. My only hope for now as the entertainment getting bigger not to release a group as often as like the other big agencies. In the end, there's high chance that BigHit might end up like those agencies & I do really care for those kids. But I trust Mr Bang, if somehow leading to that I believe that he might have other way of dealing and handling things.

-Mac-

Actually, I think that was the episode where JK suffered from heat exhaustion. I've seen them have booze around JungKook and JK, won't drink it, like in the V-Live after the AMAs a couple years ago, because while he was legal to drink in Korea, RM (and JK after a moment of thought), was mindful that he was *not* legal (at the time) to consume alcohol in the USofA.

BTS contents are endless. Video Part : Bangtan Bomb, Run BTS, Von voyage Season 1~4, Rookie king, American Hustle Life, Concert video, Summer package, Winterpackage, Memorise (2014~2018), broadcasting, GCF (Jungkook made video) Fan made video etc. Music Part : Album (Korea, Japan) and Mixtape, Cover song, arranged version song (You can hear it in BTS Soundclouds) etc. and another thing etc... As you can see by the amount of content, BTS is a hard worker and workaholic. What you saw in the this video is a clearly fact. They had a month, long break from August 2019 for the first time since their debut in June 2013. BTS contents is very many stuff, I hope you just enjoy comfrtably😉

eynz

You are right fam, dont get it from any seller, there are scammers everywhere. Usually, they have a pop up store where you can buy merch and they sells ARMYBomb there. Just be there earlier in case queue is long since you will need to sync it up before the concert starts. Blessings!

DinaArmyMom

You mentioned not getting excited at the concert. I know you were being facetious 😊. Here's my story. My 11 year old daughter wanted to see BTS in concert when they were at the United center in Chicago 10/18 and we kept telling her no bcuz the tickets were expensive. The day of the event she started crying so we bought the tickets because her B-Day was coming up. I went with her. The venue was lit up full of girls and they sang to every song and every video that came on the screen prior to the event. BTS came on stage and I have been Army ever since! I love all kinds of different music. After that I started looking them up and listening to my daughters music. My oldest daughter got into them an the rest is history. Moving forward to 2019 we heard they were coming to Soldiers Field in Chicago. The girls wanted tickets and my oldest wanted to go. All of us decided to go including my husband. We spent the night in Chicago Saturday after the concert. We were going home Sunday to celebrate mother's Day. As we're going home my husband said do you guys want to go to the Sunday show and we were like you're kidding. I'm like, he really liked the show to go again. So off we went. People of all races, genders, ages were there and we were all rockin to BTS! I get chills right now just talking about it. I have so many songs in my BTS playlist that include other K-pop groups on my iTunes. I love BTS their music is great and I'm trying to recruit people I haven't done a great job, some are not very open minded. You are going to have a GREAT EXPERIENCE. PS. My hubby is going too! 💜

Anonymous

Honestly, I have never seen a K-pop singer with as much content as BTS.(include idols groups) I am a Korean and I first understood the concept of mix tape because of BTS. Because it was unfamiliar. I don't know if my words will be communicate. I'm sorry about poor my English.

Lenny Merlenna

The reason I’m here as your patron is basically, I love your reactions and watching you continue to be intrigued by the boys and eventually loving them as people, it’s something really authentic that only happens to people who learn to listen and look at the boys beyond their stage persona and music. I took awhile to subscribe to reactors and I need to see genuine interest before I’d stick to them.. so hey, I guess, your sincerity shows.. Jin’s Epiphany is the one song that always make me tear. Be it listening to it on my playlist or watching him live. I could literally sob especially at the line, ‘I’m the one I should love, the not so perfect but beautiful me’, it just gets to me every time. The last Love Yourself performance in Seoul where I managed to score tickets to watch the live streaming at my local theater, my face was drenched in tears at the end of his performance. I just knew that was the last moment he is performing that song. Also, Jin and the rest of the boys actually created characters with Line Friends app called BT21 and his ‘baby’ is RJ. Each of the boys have one and ARMYs are known to wear some kind of peripherals on them to the concert to show who is their bias by wearing one of these BT21 characters. Jin is also seen holding RJ wherever he goes, which is actually endearing. My profile pic is actually TATA which is created by V. Google them! Check them out! And you still call them one of them light things. It’s time to call it in it’s proper name DT, it’s ARMY BOMB. You can buy it at the concert venue, just be there early, download the app before the concert and sync to your seat no. Be amazed by this experience. I’ve never been to a concert that is so interactive like this ever! Don’t buy it elsewhere cos fake ones are abundant! Can’t wait for your journey on RUN.. you have to keep at it ok? There boys are coming up to almost 100 episodes currently.. also maybe you want to consider BON Voyage series too.. there’s 4 seasons..

mowow

lol you're pretty focused on the phone thing. jimin said he's spent up to 7 hours on his phone before. they're just not on it cos of the show. if you watch bangtan bombs there's always someone in the background zoning out on their phone 🤷🏻‍♀️ not a big deal also as someone the same age as Joon and jhope, me and my peers still find it rude to be on your phone if you're with other people. still common to find young'ins talking and drinking around a table with their full attention of eachother. I guess it just depends on who you surround yourself with.

mowow

lol your comment about jin and his stuffed animal. that man loves his cuddly things. i feel like every couple of years he has a new stuffed animal basically glued to him. also rm used to have a massive collection of Ryan the lion stuffed animals. jhope has a pile of stuffed animals in his studio. it's a pretty normal thing to see the boys doing what Americans would call emasculating or feminine. different culture, but I also think the guys are just comfortable being themselves.

Anonymous

Yes, all the background music and the song you were hearing throughout the video were all BTS songs from their earlier albums.

Anonymous

You should watch Bon Voyage season 1-4 it has 8 episodes per season.. Its once a year only and its about their travels/vacations im sure you will enjoy it the most.. While Run Episodes is every tuesday its about games or challenges it has 94 episodes already next week they release episode 95.. Sometimes they filming or making a drama in run episode like Dalbang dorm drama..

Anonymous

There is another reason why everyone is dying to see them this year, but i think no one has mentioned it. Anyway, please treasure the opportunity to see them live (not saying you won't haha). I'm still waiting for the day they come to my country...

naynay

Yes bon voyage is my fav too.. I felt like I really get to know them from those show and its hilarious

Please react to bon voyage especially season 4. You will love it, see them on vacation. I love your reaction💜

I’m from Chile!!!! 💜

i can't wait for episode 4😍

WAIT TO GET ARMY BOMB LIGHT STICK AT THE CONCERT.. DON'T GET IS ANY WHERE ELSE MIGHT BE FAKE..

msathenas

They are on their phone a lot like any other person living in this century don't worry but i am 24 and it's normal not to be on your phone when you're with other people? It doesn't seem that strange to me. They are dedicated and work hard and are super close and special people but they are still just normal people, that's why i love them. Also jimin himself said that he spent 6 hours on his phone in this episode sjsj and namjoon has said he is quite the twitter addict. Im from Chile btw !!

Gaica

The phone thing is depending on what mindset they are in. They work hard but also play hard. Also the training system is grueling but I feel like the members of BTS were lucky because BIGHIT puts a lot of emphasis on mental health and well-being and the boys are encouraged to speak up and even have therapists that the company encourages them to see. Yes, they are very mature for their age and they love each other so much that they don't know what to do with themselves sometimes, as you watch them you will notice that too. Also if you are going to watch epiphany be ware that there are two versions, the music video version and the spotify full version and it would be good to react to both. and also to watch the analysis video for it by DKDKTV. Here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spOGlvWAu3w

Gaica

Also it would be really fun to watch the Bon Voyage episodes there are 4 seasons and each season has 8 episodes, there 24 episodes of Bon voyage while there are 94 episodes of run. But you should watch both shows because they are very different in nature. Bon voyage tends to be very introspective as well while run is more of them doing challenges and playing games and being their goofy selves. Also it would be good for you to react to the Festa dinners both 2018 and 2019.

Anonymous

https://youtu.be/BFqF-3qTzRg pls watch this.. You can see their vocals here..

Gebby

If you watch run BTS, I hope you upload ep 1 + 2 at same time because ep 1 more about introduction to Run Vlive.

angelkat

I'm just so excited for you and all these comments are great! I don't really have anything to add except keep doing you and I hope your concert experience is fun as well as healing. Hugs

Carrol

Finally!!!! Can you please please please react to Burn The Stage episodes more quickly? please!!! I mean there is still so much content to react to. and I cant wait for you to react to them. After this (aside from reacting to Run Episodes), there is Burn the stage the movie. Then you have to react to episodes of Bring The Soul and then Bring The Soul the Movie. Then The Bon Voyage Series, Summer Packages, Winter Package, BTS Festa 2013 to 2019................................. I mean....lol

Anonymous

Its been 2 years, and its refreshing to watch this again with your reaction haha. One of the things that makes the fans loyal to them is they are very vulnerable and open to us. We can see that through their music. And its hard to be vulnerable, not something just anyone can do.

Jessica McGuire

Since you enjoyed the boys sitting around the table, just talking, I think you would really enjoy the BTS Festa videos, even though they're comparatively long. Basically, the boys sit down and discuss various things. how they feel about where they're at, where they've been, and where they want to go in the future with their music and their careers. Sometimes they get into things that one of them does that irritates or bothers one or more of the others and discuss changes that they can each make, etc. To me, they're a very fascinating look into the way each of them thinks, as individuals, and how they work together as a team and as a family. The RunBTS episodes are a lot of fun, but those are challenges set for them by the staff and the episodes aren't consistently the same length. They play various games or act out skits, based on scenarios given to them by the staff. The boys get VERY competitive when they have a competition, since they either have a penalty they have to pay for losing or get a reward that they really want if they win. They're still a lot of fun to watch, but you learn a lot more about them as individuals and their group dynamics with the Festa videos. Just my thoughts.

Anonymous

I can’t wait for you to watch the 4th episode of Burn the stage!!!!

Bangtan Insfired

The song at the end was Second Grade by BTS from 2014... You haven't reacted to like 98% of their songs and overall content.. Good luck.

Anonymous

I would recommend to you watching Bon Voyage, there are four seasons out, in every one they're visiting other countries, it's kinda like a holiday for them but they have to manage their own limited money and find their ways around in the city by themselves, it's really funny and you see a new different side of them 😊

Anonymous

Not gonna lie 😭😭 I wish so bad you could upload for burn the stage more frequently cause I can’t keep up with being a patreon for too much longer. I really love your input on the show and their interaction. Thanks anyway

Blau Beere

Yeah I thought the same - I'm same age as Tae and Jimin and yes phones are used constantly but also when you are spending time with your friends/family it's considered rude, and that's how I feel too. And it's interesting how you Parker (or should I say DT :D) mentioned these boys being very deep and how it seems quite rare for you. I don't know if it's just that you haven't happened to been around that many people of their age, or perhaps I'm surrounded more dedicated people but their thoughts don't seem that out of normal for me. Well of course the scale, as they are so popular etc, is different but other than that...they really seem quite normal young people with their own dreams, fears and weaknesses. Though I think the bond they share with each other might be a bit different due their circumstances, at least for such a big friend group. And in my opinion yeah it's not really healthy the amount of pressure and the scrutiny they were under from such a young age, but that seems to be the same no matter what kind of entertainment you are in. And I say this as someone who is studying to become history and politics/social issue teacher so developmental psychology etc. is part of my education, though I'm not an expert on this field.

Anonymous

i'm new, hi haha

Tamara

There's like a season 2 of Burn the Stage and it's called Bring the soul doc-series. Also, if you think you'll want to listen to all of their songs since their debut, then I suggest looking at their discography and listening but not necessarily reacting to all the songs. They don't stick to one genre so it would be normal to dislike some of their songs, for example I don't think DNA is a bad song but it's not my style so it's not on my playlist :p In terms of how the Kpop industry works... I don't like the restrictions placed upon the artists and how much training they have to go through, but some entertainment companies are worse than others. I guess it has its positives and negatives.

Jill L

You don’t (and probably never will) won’t see these boys hitting the club after a concert. They go back to the hotel to eat, rest, and hang out,

BtsOT79798

Hello! I'm new to patreon not the army fandom but i love your reactions! a suggestion for a video or two for you to watch that are funny and cool to see are bts encore moments part 1 and 2.. there is also a special performance that bts did in 2016 on a special stage that was just jungkook and fellow k-pop artists that is very good i believe you can react to it on youtube but if you want to be safe you can react to it on patreon.. you can search it up by 20 year old idols perform butterfly.... the cover is of jungkook in a blue denim (i believe it may also be leather) jacket... it's a very cool performance and you can see more of jungkook's vocal ability....

Anonymous

can't wait for ep 4😊

Michelle Tetzke

So true! Plus I think they're cheaper. I bought mine online it's official 3rd gen and it cost me around $70. Awesome to have during the concert though. They're operated with Bluetooth by your seat #. That's how the Stadiums control different colors and patterns for each song. It's just gorgeous. 🤟💜

Michelle Tetzke

When talking about how close they are... I wanted to tell you not to be shocked when you see them embracing each other or being what Westerners would call touchy feely. It's just different for them. With no embarrassment and not insinuating that they have a certain sexual preference, you'll see them sharing beds and cuddling together. It's no big thing to them. Westerners get all bent out.of shape about men being able to express their love of friendship, or brothers as they consider themselves, physically. To me it's touching. Then again my momma, from West Virginia, had 12 siblings (w/ a set of triplets Donnie, Lonnie, and Ronnie) so we cousins no matter the sex were packed in wherever we fit to sleep. I'm not kidding about the names either. My momma was Birdie. Then Birchie, Beulah , Jaquetta, Freida Gale, and my Aunt Mary ( pronounced Murray with the accent. ) I'm so freaking glad my name is Michelle!!! Lol. As always, be well and God bless. 💜🤟😉

mary

It was so good.👍🙏I wonder when will he uploading episode 4?

Dear, I know you said you’ll upload burn the stage only on Saturdays. But with the many wonderful contents that they have, I think it will be good for you to react sooner if you can 😊 There are so many to catch up on.😁

Meghan

When you were talking about them not being on their phones all I could think of is that they have a song called Please Turn Off Your Cellphone it's about how people are not always present with you and are always on their phones. In the song, BTS really expresses how much they don't like it when people are always on their phones.

Anonymous

The members are all close to each other, and each of them has said that they aren’t comfortable being apart for any length of time. Part of their immense charm is the feeling of family and being happy with each other-most of the time. It’s no secret they argue, get pissy, and get their feelings hurt. On the other hand, no one has bigger fans than 6 of them for the 7th member.

I think Jungkook had altitude sickness.

hi im new! hi everyone and DT Parker! :)

han

Hi. I usually don’t comment but I watched your cypher reaction earlier and now this episode and thought it was worth mentioning. I know your comments aren’t coming from a negative place, and this isn’t to call you out because I enjoy your content and the fact that I’m on patreon speaks for itself. But anyway, when you said that the girls go crazy for the boys and in the cypher reaction about it being surprising that for a group with a female audience they make such macho music..... so while it’s true that the fandom does have quite a lot of females, it’s also a fact that army is one of the most diverse fandoms i.e. a large part of the fandom are men and women from the lgbt community, people of colour, and even cis-het males. So its definitely not limited to young girls. Not that a female audience is in anyway a bad thing and that’s not the point I’m trying to make here, because as a bi woman myself that’s the last thing I want to do but at the same time it’s just one of those excuses that the world uses to disregard bts and to gatekeep them without taking them seriously. It’s easier to sweep them under the rug by slapping on this label; “pop boyband with the love sick fangirls” because there’s the view that fangirls are mindless sheep so their interests must shallow and therefore, BTS like so many others before them is also a passing craze. But BTS have always made it a point to acknowledge and celebrate the fact that the fandom is so diverse and appreciate music regardless of genre, so I think it’s only fair that we as their fans start to appreciate that more instead of even unconsciously feeding into a misguided narrative or stereotype. Again this isn’t me calling you out, it’s just an observation I made and I think it was worth talking about. Anyway I look forward to seeing you learn more about the boys. :)

I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone who wants a reaction from BTS Festa kkul fm videos. When I first started watching reaction videos I requested for them a lot but nobody seems to watch them maybe because they’re an hour long or so. But it would be very very nice if someone could react to it. Every so often, whenever the boys reach a milestone or achieve something, I always go back to those videos. Why? Because they talk a lot about their dreams there, what they want to achieve in the future, etc. I remember Jhope said he wants to win a Daesang /Grand Prize and everybody else went silent. Like they dreamed about it but never really expected too much. Or when Suga said he wanted to perform at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul and one of the members said ‘ who would watch them or something’ and Suga said sorry he felt embarrased saying it. And look at them now. Sold out stadium shows. This makes me want to cry in a corner. I think DT Parker would enjoy those videos as well.

DT, buy your Army Bomb (light thing) at the concert. They have specific merch lines just for that purpose. They are more reasonably priced and you won't have to pay for shipping. DO NOT ORDER FROM ANYONE BUT BIG HIT!!!!! I ordered one from another company that said it was authentic but it didn't link with Bluetooth which is how you sync up for the concerts. I had to buy another one. I went to my first concert last May and it was an amazing experience. Looking forward to Chicago in June!!

Why do you think only girls will like the face of the singer? Get rid of your prejudice. I'm a 30-year-old male fan. I'm not gay. I like you, so let's watch BTS together.

Hi every one.. Im new here..☺️

Penny D Young

Its a rough life. Sometimes you trained for a long time and don't get to debut. They all left homes at young age to go to Seoul. During their trainee days, they don't get to go home to see their family often. Sometimes none at all.

Aloha from Hawaii! I've seen Burn the Stage a few times and I LOVE it! But I wanted to see it again from a reactor's POV. It's interesting seeing your reactions now knowing you were baby ARMY back then but it's actually refreshing and fun. I'm here on election night - who wouldn't want to be on your patreon site instead of watching the news, right?

Re; the trainee program. It depends on the company and the trainee. Some have come through from an extremely young age and thrived to be superstars (Baekhyun, Taemin, Jungkook come to mind). Many (many!!) fall through the cracks, as individuals and/or groups they move on to other groups, acting careers, other companies, or another direction in their lives besides being in the entertainment industry or even living in Korea/Asia. I'm sure you've read the tragic stories, but I won't recount those here. I'm with you in seeing BTS as an anomaly - a mixture of timing, personalities, environment, nature/nurture, hard work, drive, talent and luck. I feel lucky in finding them - it may not have been in 2013 when they first debuted but I found them!

Another thing to mention, Jin said in an interview (about trainees) to surround yourself with GOOD people. He was lucky that he had good people around him to take care of him.

And the guys joke about how Jin talks to his mom on the phone almost every day about trivial stuff. Now, DT, I've heard how you said you talk to your mom a lot, too, correct? Jin chastises certain members (cough cough RM and JK) for NOT speaking to their parents more often (J-Hope, Jimin and Taehyung are also close to their parents; Suga asked his mom for tips on painting).

I get that, Michelle - I'm from a big family as well, with "choke" cousins with very limited living spaces. Knowing the extremely small rooms BTS lived in, even when they traveled, they were so grateful when there was a queen size bed that 2 people could sleep in side-by-side comfortably! Even large size bunk beds were amazing to them - so unreal! But they're humble and know what it feels like for 7 boys to live in extremely small spaces with a small budget.

Hi. I'm new from Ontario Canada. I've been enjoying watching your reactions to BTS. I've seen a few reactions on YT and I really didn't like them. Thank you for reacting and learning about our boys.
