IT'S UPLOAD WEEK AND IM NOT TIRED YET. WOOOOO.

Narrator: "This was a lie, Daryl wakes up exhausted on the daily. This week especially, for he had a 36 minute video to edit and 36 reasons to want to drive to Mexico and pass out on a beach"

I just wanna thank you all for the music recommendations last week, that was extremely helpful. It also reminded me just how much I really need to prioritize playing Silent Hill 2 at some point because... wow. That Soundtrack is simply from another planet. But yeah, massive shoutout to all of you. I'm sure your ears will register a few of the songs you recommended in the final video.

It is a busy week for me though, lots of editing to do, but it's steady. I think this one will come together nicely. Look forward to an editing stream tomorrow at 11 AM CDT, I hope to see you there! The last few streams have been a lot of fun, the turnout is getting better and better, so be sure to drop in hang out for a bit :)

Also once next Monday hits, there will be a good bit of bloopers from this video AND the last one since I didn't do that one back when I went on break! So that'll be fun.

Take care, have a delightful week, I'll see you tomorrow, and then Friday for the first new video after the break :) We're back!

I'm glad you seem to be in such good spirits! I agree with Andrea that the narrator bit was hilarious. :) There are many reasons to want to pass out on a beach in Mexico, LOL. Silent Hill 2 is one of those games that I can't play myself- I tried several times- but that I can watch playthroughs of and enjoy it more than most movies. The absolute power of that story and those characters... it's incredible and I'm getting equal parts nostalgic, inspired and horrified as I remember it. The music was good too, of course. :) Not sure if I'll be able to make the editing stream tomorrow, but wishing you a wonderful one either way and eagerly looking forward to the video! Take care.

How long does it usually take you to edit videos? I usually tell people approximately one hour per minute of video length. Kind of a rough order of magnitude on my end, but I’m sure some people are significantly faster or slower than that

That's pretty damn close, about an hour a minute. But of course it varies depending on the topic. Sometimes that minute flies by because its a bunch of simple clips faded together and found in one location. Other times, it's super tedious because it's lots of images and timed transitions/animations.
