Do you guys remember how in the past, I've often said, "hey everyone, get ready because we're getting weird in this one!" when referring to a new video?

Cool. What I'm about to make next will make all of those times seem like lies. And not because it'll be disturbing or about some game you're never heard of, but because of how specific a topic it is and how surprisingly deep the rabbit hole goes. 

That said, I'm extremely worried that this will not perform well haha. So for the first time ever I actually feel like the thumbnail, title, hook at the start of the video, and overall presentation are the most important part of this whole video because the subject matter itself almost sort of writes itself. Um... yeah, please look forward to this one. It'll be up hopefully the weekend of the 21st but more realistically the weekend of the 28th. Don't want to rush it.

Backlog updates! I tried Final Fantasy IX. Liked the vibes, hated how dated it felt. The battles were slow to load, they play slow (even after speeding them up in the options). The tent is old school and does not revive party members. The plot did not.. exactly grab me. I was interested to see things play out, but not so interested that I wanted to keep playing, so I tossed it. I'm happy I tried.

I picked up Danganronpa 2 again... and put it right back down. We'll see what I decide to do with that.

I had a sudden realization that I've never played Portal 1 or 2! They were on sale for $1 each, so I scooped them up and added them to the backlog. I'm hoping to knock them and the Stanley parable out in the next week or so. Oh and uh... I started Outer Wilds... I think I love it. The best way I can describe my experience having only played for abour 2 hours is, I am overwhelmed in the most peaceful way possible. Looking forward to getting that finished up before month's end. 

THEN, it's Fire Emblem Engage time when that drops later this month. Assuming it doesn't bomb. I'm still a bit on the fence about it. We'll see.
