Weekly Journal (March 28th) (Patreon)

Remember how last week I made a joke about how I would only have time to either finish Elden Ring or make an April Fools video? Welp, it's beginning to look like I won't be able to get either done lmao. I spent all weekend fighting Malenia in Elden Ring and my god, I am in pain. I feel nothing. I stopped existing this weekend for a few hours. I truly felt devoid of myself as I fought against what can only be described as the most difficult video game boss I have ever fought. I had nightmares about this boss. And although I finally did win... the cost was too great. I couldn't even feel pride, just relief and... my face again.

The fight was cool as hell though lmao.

Anyways, video prod! There is none. Let me explain.

Usually, my videos are 4 weeks apart from one another. This time however, due to timing with a sponsor, I have 5 weeks to work with! Great right? A little leeway, a little wiggle room. Time for me, time to unwind.

No. This is a lie. A lie from Hell. Or worse... a lie from Philly.

I don't do well with time off because it spoils me haha. If I have more than a few days off, the time off sours. I lose my will to accomplish anything and going back to work is extremely tough. I have watched so much anime, played so much Elden Ring, played so much golf, dicked around the house far more than I should have. And now that it's time to get back at it, I feel immeasurable levels of guilt because of all the time I took off. PLUS the time I took off wasn't even that fun because I felt guilty for taking it. It really feels like that Post Malone line "work so hard forgot how to vacation".

I realize this is bad. I realize this is not my best trait. I have dealt with it before and gotten past it, so I'll do it again just like I always do. Just wanted to get that off my chest. 

ANYWAYS, I will be writing a script this week! I am going to Will Smith slap the absolute shit out of this script this week. It is about shiny Pokémon. It is about rare items in games. It is about spending hours on a PNG image. It is most certainly not about NFTs but BOY it could be extremely easily and I am going to do my best to not mention them because daddy doesn't want to revive that whole conversation.

Not sure which thumbnail I'm feeling though, I have 2 contenders up top, the Eevee thumb or the Umbreon? Like them? Hate them? Have a favorite? Any better ideas? Let me know what you think down below.
