1 other person I love in this movie is Charlotte. She grew up as a spoilt, shallow rich girl, but her friendship with Tiana is sincere and true. She asked for Tiana to provide beignets for the party, pays Tiana for it. Her lifelong dream was to marry a prince, but when Tiana and Naveen declare their love for each other, Charlotte tears up in happiness for Tiana who has found love and willingly gives up her dream for Tiana. Charlotte is grand as heck..

So glad you watched this one since its the second last 2D animated film by Disney. Also, Tiana is one of my favorite Disney Princesses. She had a lot of talent , but also had to work really hard to achieve her dream. And had obstacles in her way (poverty and racism…) but she never lost sight of what she wanted. She always thought about her late father, she worked her butt off, but nonetheless always remained kind and generous, and put positive energy into the universe. That along with her own work ethic helped her achieve her ultimate dream of freedom and independence. (Also, the soundtrack to this film is amazing. Randy Newman is a legend.)

The title reminded me of a movie you HAVE to see, The Princess Bride (1987). Its not animated but its hilarious and heartfelt and an absolute cult classic! A PG movie with fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love and miracles!
